I am on the 500U 24.99 plan from last year and I signed into My Rogers and selected the 1GB Promo 29.99 and it updated to this new plan Immediately. (Modem restarted)

I was hoping to continue on my 24.99 for another 1 or 2 months to finish it off and then start this new one however that doesn't seem to be the case.

It even changed my most recent bill (last month) from 28.24 incl tax to $32.88 which reflects the current price for a service I have only had 5 minutes.
My current deal ends March 26 and my new deal starts March 27. I did the self-service renewal via MyRogers on Sunday night and got the service change details email Monday morning indicating the start date.

Several people said it started immediately so I checked my speed and it's still the same speeds I got on 500mbps and MyRogers still shows Ignite 500u so mine is definitely starting when the current deal finishes.

Ambassador called the same day as I put cancellation , said he got an offer for me. Best he can do is 29.99 for the 500 and 34.99 for the 1gb. Said offer is valid till 8 pm ( 2 hours from when I called him back. )

Yay. I’m currently on $25/500mbps and just got a renewal offer for $95/1gbps. Should I take it?

I got the popup offer and accepted a couple hours ago. It has already updated MyRogers account to 1GB, so YMMV for it to kick in when your current plan expires automatically via the online renewal.

I think you may hold the record for the highest renewal offer like this ... that sucks
I'd rather be outdoors camping, kayaking, and mountain biking ...

They offered 79.99 and refused to accept the fact that a 29.99 offer even existed

Thanks OP

No pop up for me but I contacted using Chat and they offered it to me without me even having to ask for it, I simply said my current promo is ending next month and they offered the deal. Located in Ottawa

Not really. Rogers is losing because I’m saving $10/month by paying only $95/month.

I would love to know the criteria for why someone gets targeted with these offers.

Gave a thumbs up!

I called in to get my account number to see if I could get the offer and she said she would just give it to me.

B :)
