Spoke with an agent yesterday about 500mbps internet for residential in toronto and they shut that down hard. Best I was offered was a resigning of my 500 plan for $90/month. Deals are account bound, not region anymore.

New customer, I spoke to FB, Online, and called in multiple times and the best they offered was 500U for $60
Then randomly an agent called me a week ago (2-3 weeks after I tried to contact them) and offered 500U for $37.99 = $42 all in, no rental fee, no activation, no contract, 1 year
I'm in a townhouse in the L6C area code, so keep trying!

Was just talking to rogers live chat, best Gigabit offer they can offer is $56.49 after taxes, or $50.84 after taxes for my current 500mbps. No dice on the $19.99 or $24.99 deal

EDIT: Called to talk to agent, she gave me the same offer as the Live Chat agent. Asked to be transferred to retentions, the guy was able to give me $24.99 for 500mbps which is already cheaper than what I'm paying. Or $29.99 for the gigabit plan. I'm sticking with 500mbps for now so i took that $24.99 offer right away since it's already cheaper. He said I can switch to gigabit any time since it's the same promotion applied, it'll just be $5 more before tax. Not sure if I need gigabit speed but really happy with the offer they gave. Guess I'm sticking with Rogers for another year.

Is this Rogers Home Internet deal good for new/return customer (current with Fido, before Fido, with Rogers lol)?

Thanks

Is there a special number or promo code for this?
It seems area restricted, the best deal you can get really depends on your area.
I spent way too much time finding good deals! Now I will focus on getting my Ph.D. :)

I’m in awe. Every time I call or chat they offer me $56 for 500u or $67 for 1000u taxes in. They don’t budge.

Kudos to those who have been able succeed.

I was offered $29.99 +tax for Ignite Gigabit & $24.99+tax for 500u. Took 500u for $24.99+tax.

Has anyone in the Kitchener-Waterloo area received the $25 500u offer or the $30 Gigabit offer?

I have been offered $59.99 for Gigabit and 50 bucks and change tax in for 500u but that isn't even close to 25 bucks plus tax. The best I could get last year was 37 and change tax in for 500u which is still pretty solid!

Got gigabit for $35. I'm fine with that deal, don't need to think about it for another year.

This $20/month apparently is only for condos, we were offered $60/month in residential area

The condo deal makes perfect sense because it is a completely different situation. Gigabit for 35 would be really nice though as would an even better deal for 500u (50 bucks tax in for me) . . .I am coming off of 500u for ~37 taxes in which is also good but not as good as some people got last time either. I have been with Rogers for almost two decades.

Which is actually a bad thing for you, as you were likely on a whole bunch of discounted plans all that time, which effectively placed you in the lower ARPU bucket.

Yep, Rogers doesn't care how long you've been a loyal customer. My mom was with Rogers for over 35 years and $80 was the lowest they could go for 500u.

Just off the chat with rogers. No dice, best they could offer was 1gbit @ $56 all in.
