Called Rogers yesterday to cancel, today I got an email and called them and they offered 150 for $40, I accepted and it's activated but now I got the code popup in my browser and it seems like the code offers are much better. Anyone have experience with already accepting an offer and then calling again with the code?
You aren't locked into anything, if they're putting a better offer in your face they will honor it.

I went on their Facebook page and spoke to Victor. I explained why I cancelled and he offered me the same package that I had before. $29.99 for 500u package. Promotional pricing for the next 12 months. See you all again in 2020!
Did you do this March 20? That's a good deal.

I am currently on a 60 unlimited plan for $22 which expires at the end of the month. I have been offered 150 unlimited fur $35 + tax straight through the chat. My building in Toronto has had Bell FTTH wired to all the units and we have been told that the final steps will be taken to hook it up in the next couple months. Any thoughts on whether I should just take what's on offer waiting to see what comes available when Bell completed the FTTH connection or whether I should try the cancellation route?

If you have the confirmation number for 150 unlimited for $35 I would cancel, if you don't get a call back, you can always activate the offer you received through chat. Just make sure you have the confirmation number.

Was on $25 all in for 150u, expiring in April.
Just called again for the 3rd or 4th time in the last 3 weeks.
Was offered $78 all in for 300u. Asked to transfer to cancellation.
Retentions offered me $48 all in for 500u.
I accepted. Figured it was a decent price for more speed. Also tired of calling in. Will need to go pick up the new Gigabit modem soon and then no more talking to Rogers for 12 months.

Yay or nay? Thoughts?

my internet offer expires next week... I have had a cancellation notice in for the 3 weeks and no responses

Should I try contacting them again? Or should I just keep waiting? Or should I just give up?

Was on the 500u for $25 and tried twice as my offer expires on the 29th.

Was offered 500u for $50.84 taxes in and gigabit for $56.49 taxes in. Both prices include the $3 increase coming April 1. I took the gigabit offer.

I had requested closing my 500U over 10 days ago and scheduled to cancel last week.
Called many times at different # but No good promo and Roges won't give anything lower than $50!
NO call back or winback email even on or after cancelling date!
BYE Rogers after 21 years!

I signed up Carrytel cable 75 promoion ($24.99 for 1st month) as backup and so far no problem. I'll test for 7 days.
I'm also signing up Ebox FTTN 50 promo ($29.95 for 12 month)
https://www.ebox.ca/en/ontario/residential/deals/
(Max. FTTN for my area is only 100 down from Bell and 50/10 from other providers like Start.ca, Ebox, Vmedia! I think for my family is enough since no daily torrent or big files transfer!)

Signed up to join Ebox Group buy group to get $2 off/month.

Same here 500U for $25, called Today and best they offered was same for $50...so I set up cancelation at the end of my cycle. Bye bye Rogers.

Update: So Today I received the "Let's make things right" email asking to call the number 1 866 600 9112.
I called to see what they will offer and I actually they offered a WORST deal than the one they offered yesterday when I canceled my service.

Yesterday : 500U = $50 Total (tax included)

Today "Let' make things right" :

150U = $39.99 + tax
300U = $49.99 + tax
500U = $59.99 + tax

Lol what a Joke.

Hi,

I have an existing connection with Bell which is expiring in 2 days. I'll be cancelling it soon. Would you be able to give me the contact information of the guy who helped you with the 500u for $37?
