Rogers Wireless Apple Watch Series 3 Offer

Rogers is clearing out stock of the Apple Watch Series 3
42MM is $160
38MM is $120

Must add a line to your Share Everything/Infinite plan $10 a month
First 3 months are free
Cancel anytime after 30 days
No commitment
$35 activation fee

Total is:
38MM - $120x1.13 + $35x1.13 = $175.15
42MM - $160x1.13 + $35x1.13 = $220.35

I know this is an older model but pretty good deal for an Apple Watch for around $200

I got this yesterday, here are a few caveats:

In the store they will tell you that the discount is not applied to the device balance, and if you close your account early you will have to pay the full retail balance (less what you paid on finance or up front). I called in to CS and they confirmed. However when I checked my account this morning my device balance was $183 ($160 + tax) so in effect you can pay this off and close the line without a penalty.

You can't order online, but If you want to avoid the $35 activation fee, order by phone or by chat (despite what they might tell you that they don't have stock they can do it). They will ship to the store and the activation fee will be waived.

Also on the site it looks like you only get the 3 months free and extra 1GB with the Series 4 and 5, but if you scroll down to see the Smartwatch Plan Details it doesn't exclude the Series 3. For posterity save the web page as you might have to call CS after you get your 1st bill.

Thanks. So you paid $183 all-in?
I think the biggest caveat that you have to be Rogers customer.

Saw the sale price sticker at a Source store on Thursday morning for series3.
You should ask the sales

I too would like to get it from the source for $225 tax in.

Finding one of these in stock at Rogers and finding a Rogers customer to help me will be difficult.

Do you know if this was for the 38mm or the 42mm?

I called all the Rogers in my area non of them have it, The Source doesn't take calls so I can't verify the pricing cf7777 said.

Yeah that is my device balance, I'm paying monthly but when I get my tradein credit I'll pay it off.

I'm on a corporate discount plan, so worth it for me.

You must be in the printing business blindemboss....

Forgive my ignorance, what's the catch here? I'm trying to get one and almost everywhere i see it on for 299$ if you want new. Refurbs are less but.... i'm looking for unused.

Thank-you so much for this. My husband and I both wanted the 3 series with or without cell capabilities. Just so happened one of the stores closest to me had one 38mm and one 42mm left. Most stores had none at all. With activation the 38mm came to $134.40 and the 42mm came to $179.20. This is an incredible deal. My husband will probably cancel his $10/month watch plan after the first month but I will likely keep mine. Thanks again I am pretty pleased with this hot deal. Editing to add that this does not include the $35 activation fee - I got carried away haha. It includes the tax in BC.

I tried ordering by chat and got shut down right away and they wouldn't budge so I did have to go in store and pay $35 activation. I tried though so thanks for that tip - hopefully others get lucky like you too. I paid outright with no problems and confirmed the $10 plan does have 1GB and can be cancelled after 30 days no penalty. They also confirmed that the "full retail" is now the $120 or $160 so if you want to finance you can and pay off the balance anytime with no "increase" in the price of the watch. The price in their system is still showing regular price but they had received instructions from the higher up's on how to manually change the price on these and it worked so I am happy :)

I got this messaging as well but I have had so many poor experiences with Rogers I remain skeptical. They are saying $5/month for 24 months (38mm) and I can opt out anytime by paying off the remaining portion of the $120. Were not giving me an option to just pay the $120 in store.
