This was on the business side with epp. I also dropped phone insurance since iPhone XS max isn't worth much more than the deductible at this point.

If you want an upgrade there's no real phone discount at the moment, and the price of the phone plan goes up even with epp. airpods being the only real promo is not very good
I'm on a 60GB Finance plan with 20GB Max Speed Infinite Plan.

They offered me $120 off plus waived $25. So an extra $65 from the online offer.

Its pretty hard to negotiate with them right now.

I think I'll bite the bullet and upgrade.

I'm on a Rogers EPP plan. After many attempts of trying to get Rogers to match the Telus $50 20 GB plan, I was finally able to get a $50 15GB plan (Talk and Text w/15 GB - No Tab). It's a special rate that the rep had to spend some time searching for. The rep said that it's a month to month rate and is not eligible for a hardware upgrade.

I had 5GB bonus data on my previous plan that the rep said would carry over so 20 GB total.

I was getting to the point that I really just wanted to switch to Telus but they refused to waive the $45 activation fee. I'll wait to switch when there are better hardware offers.

FYI... Other EPP Rogers loyalty/retention plan rates I was quoted included $50 for 8 GB and $55 for 12 GB.

This morning, Rogers offered me the "$75 infinite +20 financing" plan with $20 discount for 24 months, comes to $55+hst for 20GB. No hassle so I just went for it.

Not exactly sure what the financing part means since the rep said it was a bring your own device plan.

Currently pay $65/month per line on 2 lines for 10GB of data (non 5G). Just went on live chat to buy a phone and bring the monthly plan down a bit and Rogers said they couldn't offer me anything better.

That's wild. I can go sign up with Virgin or Koodo and pay $55/month for 12GB plus a $100 credit with the Pixel 4a 5g costing the same as on Rogers.

Rogers own website (along with Bell & Telus) shows 20GB available for $75 for the first line and $60 for the 2nd line, plus a $100 credit. That's double the data and $5 more than I pay now once the credit runs out. They could offer me that for my current rate at least.

I was a Rogers cell customer for many years but when Telus EPP recently had the $50/20 GB plan I inquired about it because my employer was eligible for Telus EPP plan, but NOT Rogers EPP for their similar plan. I asked Rogers customer service if they would price match this for me, but this rep said no because I didnt qualify for their Rogers EPP plan. So, I switched over to Telus, got their $50/20GB plan, sim card, etc. all set up.

Rogers then calls me yesterday with their Winback Plan, $45/25GB Plan, PLUS she said I can add up to 10 lines to this account. This was hard to pass up since I also wanted to add my wife to this line. I said yes, double Win for me! ( I do not think Telus EPP offered additional phone lines to your account)

$45 activation is paid for first month, but then Rogers will waive the fee for the second month.

FYI this deal is also available in Ontario, I was offered the same from winback today, you don't need to be on EPP to get this, just a longtime customer who ported out to Freedom's $45/20 GB promo

How did it go? Were you able to reach them, or did they call you back after?
