I had something similar happen but with a Vancouver number. Asked them to email me and they had so many typos. Tried to confirm if the plan offered with a US and Canada data plan and they were just saying yes. Seemed suspicious sadly.Quid Pro Quo wrote: ↑ I got a call with an offer better than my current provider's plan. The caller ID was 647-450-9353, and the callback number from Rogers agent Sam (RC8004) was 1-866-883-7475. Unsure of its legitimacy due to the lack of a local accent, I used a backup number to dial their 1-866 one. While there was no immediate answer, they attempted to call back, suggesting they used Caller ID. I didn’t answer and opted to block both of their numbers.
I wish Rogers just openly offered things because this is just going to raise the rate people fall for scams

worth it if your goal is to decrease your monthly phone bill & don't mind 5G with the accompanying hard checks.TonySanFrancisco wrote: ↑ UPDATE:
Received on email a long Survey-Feedback from Rogers. Completed it (5-10 min).
Missed a call from win-back team couple of times. Called the number back, left a voice mail asking to call me back again. Was offered to come back to:
1) Rogers: $50 plan for 50 gb - 5G. 100 Credit if finance a phone.
2) Fido: $35 plan for 30 gb - 4G. Credit 200 if finance a phone.
Decided to go with Fido + Finance Iphone 15 Pro Max with $999.99 downpayment - $33 per month for 2 years. 200 Credit.
Downsides:
a) Hard credit check on Bell.
b) Hard credit check on Fido.
c) 30$ charge to switch to Bell. (30 out of 60 was waived)
Overall, not as great as expected, but still a decent outcome. What do you think? Was it worth it.

Got a call from someone saying they're rogers (caller id was 6477454321, though when I asked for their callback they said it's 6474937908), offered me 2 deals:
$40 for 60GB (unlimited canada-wide calling etc)
$30 for 20GB (unlimited canada-wide calling etc)
I assume this not actually rogers and just a scam pretending to be them?

Scam. I've gotten many messages/calls from 647 numbers pretending to be Rogers.
From my experience, Rogers/Fido winback is generally a 1-833 number (although this can be spoofed).

I phoned *611 today, selected change my plan, cancel a service, and the retention rep offered me the following (I told them Public Mobile was already offering a $40 for 40 GB of 5G data plan):
This was the same that the MyRogers website was offering me already (for a non-infinite 5G plan), so I asked if there was anything better or a plan with more data?
I told her Mobilesyrup said Rogers was offering $55 / mo for 70GB on a Bring Your Own Phone/Device plan. In the end she said that is only for new activations.
Then she offered me the following:
So that's what I took in the end. I was previously on a $58-10 ($48) / month 5G non-Infinite plan with 15GB of data.
New plan is: $55 / month with 60GB (drops to 35 GB after 24 months). Technically the base plan is "5G Mobile 35GB NS".
I guess if I wanted more data, I could/should have taken the initial $60 / mo with 80GB Infinite plan that was offered. I think my plan used to have like 20GB before it dropped back down to 15GB, but anyways, 60GB should be more than enough for the next year or so.

Anything better than 35 a month? I have that but it runs out in 6 months. I may wait till boxing day as 45 is a hard pass.

Last year there was some CRAZY good deals from 3rd party Rogers dealers for Ottawa or Quebec numbers on BUSINESS plans (new activations) such as the Costco kiosk. Like $10 per month after all discounts for additional lines.
Anyone in OTTAWA or QC know yet from visiting Costco or Wireless Wave or Tbooth?
Referencing this: https://forums.redflagdeals.com/costco- ... n-2592039/
I hesitate to go in-person, potentially wait a while, and have to decide on the spot, without at least knowing an idea of what to expect. Knowing someone who works at Rogers, I already know what the best a store is capable of offering but usually these 3rd party places are able to beat that by another $5 or $10 IF they know all of their promos in & out, down to every last $5 in savings. Some reps do, some don't.

Hello, I just spoke with Rogers Retentions and they offer me $45 plan ($5 discount) total 40$ plus tax. Unlimited Canada calls and text. 20Gb, voicemail and call display. (I live in Montreal). I just notice that the black Fridays offers are better. I've been 15 years Rogers customer, do you recommend to keep the same plan or take any Black Friday offer (for example Costco is offering $30 for 30Gb with Virgin or Fido), and try to get the winback offer. What do you think?

Imo if you have the patience, call again. If they don’t budge just switch **** them. They’ll call you back eventually with win back offers

Just talked to Rogers today. The best they're offering me is either:
- $45 for 25GB which was already tagged on my web account
- $50 for 70GB
So $67.95 with Apple Watch and Visual Voicemail.
Freedom is $48 with Apple Watch and Visual Voicemail with 50GB.

30 gb = $45
70 gb = $55

After 15 years with Rogers, i finally decided to move to Koodo, at Rogers i was paying $45 for 20Gb. Now with Koodo i will pay $29 for 30Gb, more than enough for me since i dont use much data. Does anybody know what is Roger's Winback offer and how long it takes to receive the call?
