I contacted Retentions this past weekend regarding my mom's plan, she is originally on $45, 2 GB, BYOD plan, been with Rogers for 17years, and when I asked if she could get any deal for the Iphone XR without significant increase on her monthly plan, the best they could offer was a $5 off of the Smart Tab plan ($90 - $5 = $85) and a $529 charge for the phone. He said, my mom could go on the Ultra tab and pay $ 0 on the phone but her monthly plan would be around $110 after a $10 discount. I guess I should've escalated it but I was just really disappointed because I spoke to 3 diff people and they wouldn't budge.

My mom was offered at work on Monday to switch to Bell for the $90 with 5GB premium plus tab - 30% EPP discount = $ 70.54 after tax, $ 0 upfront for Iphone XR and $100 Walmart GC, and she signed up for that. Rogers now called her twice today, apparently very eager to get her back and also asked why she switched without letting them know, she told them to call me instead. If they call me, should I try to negotiate with them and if I get a better deal, should my mom switch back? I wasn't sure how exactly Winback works, do they give you enough credits to offset and pay off the tab with the other carrier?

Any thoughts are much appreciated. Thanks!
Yes. Trust me they'll be willing to "talk" now..

I was live chatting with two different Rogers Customer Relations rep and the best either offered me was $75/month for 10gb, unlimited canada-wide calling, unlimited text, no tab (BYOD). How are you guys getting the 25% on top? Is that being escalated beyond retentions? A new phone would be nice too... I'd be willing to pay a bit more monthly for iPhone XS.

Existing customer with Rogers for almost 20 years. I just did a live chat with one of the reps as my 2 year promotion is ending early January. I am currently paying $117 including tax for Plus Extra Tv Package (gives me a few bonus channels), Ignite 100U, Netbox Rental, Advanced Wifi Modem Rental.

New deal...Popular Tv (all the channels I have now) plus 1 bonus channel that I can swap out every 30 days, Ignite 150U for $131 including tax.

Feels like I got ripped off. I guess it's time to call Bell hell and cancel Rogers once and for all.

I believe you put this in the wrong forum. This is for wireless only :)
There is one for cable/internet deals.

Been speaking with OOTP since the start of the week. Talks were going no where but finally I can get the $85 10GB with 25% discount when I brought it up the last 2 days.

I haven't accepted yet because it's way more data then I need. I would prefer only 4 to 6 GB for each of my lines because we are usually connected to WiFi anyway.

What pricing should I expect for Premium Tab plans for 4-6GB data? What I know so far:

$40 4GB no tab (can't get a monthly discount)
$50 4GB smart tab (can't get a monthly discount

They originally said $80 5GB on Premium Tab...

The device we already negotiated is $99 128GB iPhone XR. I was OK with this, the main holdup was the plans. I am going to ask them about the iPhone X now.

Was offered this.

Line 1: $95 5GB plus 25% off = $71 premium plus tab iPhone X $99 and $75 credit for 2 years.
Line 2: $40 4GB no tab plus 25% off = $30 for 2 years.
Line 3: $20 no data plus 25% off = $15 for 2 years.

Is this a good offer or is there a better offer out there?

Hey guys!

Got offered iPhone X 64gb for $99 on a premium plan

With 10GB/$85 a month and a 1 time $100 bill credit from management office?

Currently on the $60/10GB plan and iPhone 7 Plus 256GB.

What do you think? This a good offer?

Let me know!
