[Rogers Wireless] Rogers offers 2 month free of wireless service (credit back for April and May) for front line workers

Retailer:

Similar to Telus, Rogers offers 2 month free of wireless service (credit back for April and May, 2020) and 10% off ongoing to your bill for front line health care providers.
You need to online chatting or call Rogers. If you account is under EPP (health care authorities, and this is my case), they just need few minutes to verified, nothing need to provided. If you are not EPP plan, you may need to provide some work information (I am not sure about this part).

Please note, if you have multiple lines under your account, the credit apply to the line(s) under your name. if you have 10% off when you sign up, you may not get the 10% off ongoing to your bill again.

The list of eligible health care authorities is still updating, if you can not get this on your first try, maybe try it a week later.

Good Luck

Is it just Frontline medical or would a fire fighter qualify?

that is based on your locations. I believe all major health care authorities are covered. I am under Fraser Health in GVA,

Wouldn't it be more impactful to help people that are out of work for the time being?

Well, I agree with you, but that is part of the $2000 per month for 3 months plus whatever the provincial gov benefit which the health care providers not qualified for a penny. Plus, paying more tax to cover the future gov debt.

Only took 5 replies before someone asked this. Might be a new record!

After chatting with bunch of different people, was only able to get the 2 month credit. Do you know how many months the 10% discount lasts? Is it indefinite?

Edit: Thanks OP!

So longer interaction with the Rogers rep via chat...

Got offered the 20GB infinite plan for $75 with a 20% credit indefinitely for a total $60 (was previously paying $65 for 15GB). Guess it aligns with the new EPP pricing.

Then got offered the next 2 months free because of this thread, however they knew nothing about the 10% discount going forward. Might take a few days for their team to be aware of this (if it's even a thing).

Thanks OP.

After my 30 min time-share, was told it doesn't apply in my area, but was given a 1 month bill credit for my time. I'm in the GVA too but only on the $20 unlimited canada-wide talk and text plan. Oh well better than nothing. Thank you OP.

Spoke to Rogers via live chat today. I’m at SHN and the agent didn’t say anything about it being excluded. They confirmed my eligibility for the 2 month refund but knew nothing about the 10% discount. The agent said they’re not currently offering that.

Were you guys able to get confirmation of the promo being applied? Agent I chatted with said she needed to forward with a specialist team to apply, but I should see it on my next invoice.
