What are you guys saying when you call the numbers? I am on the 24.99 until March deal..my postal code is definitely not in the area and last year I remember the rep I got was amazing and put it through for me anyways. I called the 866 number and the guy was not cool at all. Told me I should not be calling this number and that I need to be transferred to a regular rep first... Do I just need to put in a cancellation in order to get them to talk to me about this? I tried the FB chat and the price was outrageous so I figure they can't do anything. Help would be great on this.

tried both fb chat and rogers website and best they could offer was 500u for 76$
FYI I called either the 1-866-737-4159 or 1-866-695-9367 in mid-January to try to get a better deal on Internet+TV or just Internet, but when they wouldn't budge on price (best offer was $112 all in for Internet 150u plus Popular TV), set up a cancellation date of two weeks out.

Called back the following weekend (Jan. 19 or 20), got a rep in retentions, and he immediately agreed to $35+tax/month for 500 Mbps internet for 12 months, no other fees (modem rental, setup, etc). Not the best price but it will do for the next year.

People in this thread keep forgetting that you need a pending cancellation notice on your account for the agents on many of the numbers posted here to help you.

No wonder you are getting "You are not supposed to call this number" responses.

So this was kind of funny.

Tonight out of the blue Rogers phones me to let me know that my $39.99 gigabit promotion price is ending next month and was asking if I'd like to hear about some exciting new offers.
I decided to listen to what he had to say and upon opening up my account (I didn't provide any details, he had it already) he realized I was already offered another promotion starting the day after my $39.99 promo price ends ($49.99 that I got after reading this thread).
I guess whatever he was going to offer was not as good as that because he never bothered telling me what it was and just said thank you for using rogers and that was that.

In the years I've been with them, they've never called me in advance before my internet pricing was set to go up to try and offer me another deal.

The number they called from was 855-760-4838 and it came up "ROGERS COMMUNICATIONS"

That’s a number for Zedd Customer Solutions, a 3rd Party call centre that Rogers outsources to.

I called to renew as my offer was said to expire end of March. After considering going to Gigabit he mentioned it would be $48 so I said I'm just gonna stick with 500 mbit. He came back and said I don't have to do anything. ??? Was like huh
I have until March 2020 @ $24.99

Yay

Hi guys,
Sounds the subject service is comming beside Rogers Grid TV, which is recivable without set top box (via coaxial RF cable directly to TV antenna input port) and few channels are receivable (like demo), means on one station multiple channels (6) are viewable and I can switch the Audio among 6 available ones but cant select the video and make it full Screen , any Idea how can we select one of them and watch?

I was able to negotiate $29.99+tax for 1 year for Gigabit service for a family member (house) yesterday, but I'm pretty sure everyone's internet bill is going up $3+tax in April.

I went through the same ordeal, cancelled my plan and received a call from retention's department the next day and agreed to $40.00 plus tax/month for Ignite Gigabit.

What live chat was it? FB, or the business office, or general chat?
