paying for 150/15 but my speed increased to 300/15 with nothing done on my end. Did Rogers bump up everyone's DL?

Just tested my 150/15 and it just capped at 200/16

It’s been that speed since day one though

currently paying 35 for 150M
chatted today got offered 39.99 for 300M 44.99 for 500M 49.99 for Gigabit but none of them include the price increase next month so I declined called in and put a cancellation date. The lady who received my call insisting that I should take the 39.99 300M because what she has for 300M is 74.99 ...........
I guess I need to find some alternate
Can someone kindly provide one?

I got Rogers 300D/20U ... 32.99 + HST ... everything included ... no additional fees
Pricing set for 1 year.

I'm in Newmarket, with no Bell fibe competition.

You didn't indicate where you are, and if Bell has the new infrastructure. But this is what Bell has been offering, $55/month for gigabit with $10 credit for 3 months (making it $45 for first 3 months), no activation/installation/modem-rental fee).

received a phone call was offered 40 for 150M but with credits to cover the difference
refused
then called a phone number on an E-mail today. The rep insisted the best offer he can give was 40 for 150M
I mentioned I was offered 39.99 for 300M He said promotions changed every day showing no intention to give me a better offer
so frustrating!!!!

Managed to get 500u for $39.99 calling some Ottawa office number found in a rogers thread here on rfd (some 1-866 number, i forget exactly what but can be easily found here).

Some info about my situation:
-Existing customer from promo last year ($34.99 for 500u)
-Bell has FTTH in my neighborhood (I live in house, not condo)
-Put in my cancellation 2 weeks before the end date (They offered $60 for 500u at the time, declined)
-Called 1 week before cancellation date

The rep asked me what I called in for and I told her I put in my cancellation and wanted to inquire about any promotions before I make the switch to another ISP. She asked me some questions like if I was satisfied with the current speed, if my bandwidth usage would go up or down, how many people use the internet, do i use tv, etc. Then she straight-up offered the $40 500u deal. Accepted right away.

Best offer from live chat was $70 for 500u.
Best offer I got during cancellation call was $50 for 500u and $55 for gigabit.

Switching to Bell Fibe gigabit for $60.

The deals that they offer over chat/phone do expire. My current deal (60u for $20) is expiring next month. Last month I called and chatted around 10 times and was offered 150u for $35. I thought I'd wait closer to the expiration date and try my luck for the 500u/$25 or 1gbps/$30 deal. Called in and chatted around 6 times last week and they couldn't offer any of those, not even the 150u for $35 that they were previously offering.

Luckily tried my luck again this week and got 150u/$35. Good enough for me. Alternative plans are crazy expensive. And too much time wasted on this.

I received an email and pop-up with a code then I called in for 150U they can only offer me for40 and give me two months free.
I ended up accepting 75U for 30 with 3 months free.

That's a good deal. I would've taken it too, had it been available to me. I don't need nor want anything faster than 60u. The cheapest plan they could offer me was 150u/$35, so I bit the bullet after maybe trying for 20 times in a month.
