Was on $24.99 plan for 500u, promo expired. Best offer by phone was $50 for 500u, live chat offered 500u for $39.99, in Ottawa.

In Richmond Hill, we were lucky to get the $25 500u plan last Feb. Was offer $30 1G when I logged in the myRogers last month. Then we totally forgot about renewing it by the end of Feb.

Then the great offer was gone. Tried live chat and was offered a crappy offer $50 to 500u and given a cancellation department direct number to call and see if they could do something better.

Called them and the lady was trying to convince me that she would give any plan she could, but she can't offer any plan better that the $50 500u.

A few days later, called again and asked for cancellation in 2 weeks. Then next call was two days later (we didn't get the cancellation email), said we are looking to stay with Rogers. Got offered $45 500u. She even checked our postal code on Bell.ca and said our address had only 5Mbps (she lied, it's 100Mpbs, no Fiber though), so it's not a competitive area and can't offer $30 for 1G to us.

Eventually, we asked our roommate to sign up as a new account and get the $37.99 for 500u easily from some dealer. And gonna take over the ownership a few months later.

Too bad we forget to renew the $30 1G online last month and came across all these hassle. :(((

Used Facebook messenger and was able to renew Premier TV and 500u for 74.99 for 1 yr. Also have home phone and mobile with them so may have helped.

Update: I had taken the $39.99 offer but had a complaint into the Office of the President at the same time. They just called back and offered $24.99 for 500u for 12 months, so same as what I had. Until next year Rogers... it's like a yearly pilgrimage or right of passage.

What's the number of the Office of the Precident if you don't mind? Did you just complain about the rates? Thanks a lot!
Tried calling twice today and got twice full price offer. What a joke! My home phone is still under discount, $28 after taxes for basic home phone, while the 500u went up to $131+taxes!! WTH. Got offered 150u for $96 taxes in and I took it. Not gonna stay with them at that rate. 15 year customer btw. Grrrrr

Would you mind sharing or PMing th number please? Very frustrated that they don't budge on any discount at all.

To speak to the Office of the President, you will need to have a Interaction ID number from a convo you had with a Rogers manager over the phone or at the store or at Rogers Live Chat.

Once you do, you can submit a complaint with the Office of the President of Rogers via my link below.

My 500u offer is expiring as well and called, eventually got transferred to retentions. Initial call the CSR suggested that a gig plan would cost me $20 more but I pressed for a 500u plan if I can save a few bucks. While on the call the offeres disappeared. She then suggested $85 for 500u and ignite home phone. I said maybe but look into internet only. All of a sudden the cheapest plans offered to me were $100 for 500u or $130 with home phone. The hell? Transferred to retentions and same story. Tried chat and same story.

Prices went up all within the same call. My bill went up over $100+ (didn't confirm anything yet). This is some bull***t

I was on live chat with Rogers like User086360 indicated, I told the rep that wasn't happy with the $39.99 offer but had no choice and took it but asked if he could escalate my complaints to the Office of the President. Someone from the office called back a few days later and barely let me speak, she wasn't rude just seemed rushed, she opened with the $24.99 offer for 500u, which I took, and wasn't really interested in my grievances, she also gave me credit on my account to make up the difference since I had received a bill after my promo ran out. Saw an email pop up to confirm pricing then we disconnected.

Wow cool, good for you! At this rate I wouldn't care how her tone sounded like lol. I am amazed, in a bad way, how their rentention had quoted me a stone cold rate of $120.99 plus $10 modem rental per month for the 500u alone. But thanks again! I'll give it another try.
