[Rogers] YMMV Rogers winback Infinite 5G $50/20GB+ $300 new device credit

Hey guys,

I left Rogers less than 2 month ago. I just got a call from their winback team offering x2 5G Infinite 20GB for $50 and x1 $20 unlimited talk an text plans. Rep also offered $300 credit per each device activated. Activation fees waived.

ON, as per agent QC area numbers would be $5 cheaper.

Do you recall what number or caller ID showed up on your phone? Did you get the win back call from your wireless phone or your home phone? I left Rogers for Koodo then I switched to Freedom then Telus on the $45/25gb winback offer.

Is Winback better than retention in terms of offers

Eligibility for winback is you must be a customer with Rogers for at least 1 years, cancelled and wait for their call right?

Winback offers are way better than retention offers.

Did the same left Rogers over 2 months ago and went signed up with Telus. Signed up with freedom and ported over 45 dollars for 25gbs and got the deal with Telus.

Did you get any winback calls from Rogers? I was a long-time Rogers customer (since the Cantel days) and I've gotten retention and OOTP deals over the years that have kept me with Rogers until this year. My company reimburses me for my cellphone expenses and over the years it has always been advantageous for me to have a plan that have the phone subsidy included like the Rogers Edge 40 plan. With the elimination of their Edge 40 plans earlier this year, there was no longer a reason for me to stay with Rogers so my goal was to move my line over to another provider that offered a cheaper monthly rate with a decent amount of data that I'll be needing. The $50/9GB plan that Koodo had fit the bill so that's where I switched to in September. But then in October the $45/25GB plan came along and that was way to good a deal to pass up.

But if Rogers came back with a $50/20GB plan that has a $300 phone credit (that I can use for upgrade to the iPhone 12 Pro) then I might consider moving the line back to Rogers.

That’s a good offer. I was in same position, long-time Rogers customer with 2 lines at $60:/ 15gb non-Infinite plan and just ported out to Telus for. $50 / 20gb unlimited EPP plan. Winback called me 4 days ago and this wasn’t offered.

But frankly, I’m not surprised they’ve upgraded their winback offers. I’m sure there was a slew of subs that moved to Telus or Bell during the last round of EPP $50/20gb offers. It’ll take something like this to woo ppl back.

You got a call back after nearly 2 months? I left Rogers for Bell a few weeks ago because the best they would do was $75 for 10 gig. They called me back 2 days later to offer $50 for 15 gig (not infinite) and the $300 credit/activation fees waived and I turned them down.

This offer would be pretty tempting, but i'd be surprised if I got another winback call 3 weeks after the last winback call.

I just called the number above 1 (800) 336-6678 and it says it's been discontinued. Called the other winback number as I recently moved to Telus, and they are still offering $50/15GB non-infinite (no 5G either). $65/20GB infinite.

Good deal. Do Fido ever do winback offers? Left them in December for Telus and nothing, they don't seem to care, and it hurts Disappointed But Relieved Face

Earlier this year they had a $50/15gb winback plan AFAIK.
Koodo - $40/15gb

Bell Gigabit Fibe - $49.95

Those were the deals they offered me as well, last week when Winback called me (I ported to Telus EPP 2 weeks ago)
