[Rona] $6.29 - Craftsman Men's Work Socks - Wool Blend - Grey - Sizes 10-13 - 3 Pairs

Found this randomly when going through the clearance part of their website. Not sure if its at every rona.

But $6.29 for 3 pair of wool blend socks, Rona or not, its $2.10 a pair. Not sure how much cheaper you can get for that.
Thread Summary
Wool blend mens size socks at $2.10 a pair, with 53% Polyester, 23% Acrylic, 19% Wool

That I can't tell you. I bought 2 packs, work as socks. Better for winter I assume. Any sock experts on here?

Cotton holds moisture and takes forever to dry. Wool is the best natural moisture wicking material known to man.

Nothing available for me locally, but I'd be interested to know what percentage of wool is used. Frustrating when the marketing department advertises things like this and then you find out that it is like 10%.

-Stocktrack.ca and homedepot.ca do not show clearance pricing for HD even if the item is on clearance.

Sorry cant help you there. I wasnt expecting the world for $2.10 a pair. Work as socks until they get a hole, then they will be rags. Reviews on the site say good things for using in work boots, etc.

Wool is absolutely the best material for socks, keeps feet warm and dry without sweat. The only downside is shrinkage in the dryer. This particular deal though doesn't indicate what % is wool, a lot of socks are only 20-40% wool, the rest poly, and those typically suck IMO.

Not 100% Wool
Disappointed But Relieved Face

Craftsman work socks offer a great performance whether you work inside or out
The wool blend is especially designed to wick moisture away from your skin keeping your feet nice and dry
Its antimicrobial properties repel bacteria and odours away naturally
Made to fit just right, they will not bunch, slip or cause blisters

That only adds up to 95%. I wonder what the remaining 5% is...

Went over to the Rona in Waterdown. It was in a box stocked up on the shelf. Had to use the item number to find the box. Not sure if the guy is going to leave the box down or put it back up but it was near the tool section.

Photos of the socks and the material make up. Felt kind of thin when compared to the Costco socks.
