Rona - no price adjustment for cyber monday?
I bought a $900 shower at Rona (in-store) a week ago. Today and tomorrow, any online purchase over $100 is 20% off. I phoned the store yesterday asking for a price adjustment, and they told me to come in with just the receipt. When I got there, they said that in-store purchases don't count, even though I specifically asked about that on the phone. I asked if I can just use my smartphone to buy it online right there, and then get the refund on the other purchase, to avoid needlessly moving the thing around. Nope, they rather I haul the shower back to the store for a refund, and then buy it online again, than to offer a common-sense solution. Is this kind of stupidity normal?
