Got an itch to organize garage and realized Rona is having 25% off on Proslat storage walls and other Proslat accessories.
Warm deal for those who can't wait for slightly better Costco sales on these.

FYI - looks like Rona only has charcoal colour. I was able to price match with Home Depot for the 8 ft x 4ft in white.
$121.28 including tax.

LOL. If you have a time machine. I picked up 2 during this winter’s Rona clearance sale at 80% off. For $30 each. And I picked up a few Canadian Tire wall slat accessories last month at 50% off. They are made by Proslat and CT even uses the same pictures for some accessories. I’m hoping Rona will have it on clearance again this coming winter so I can add more to the garage.

this is a garage wall mounting system. The slats goes on the wall and hook kits or other accessories kits make up the rest of the system. Its a fancy and versatile way to arrange stuff you want to hang on the wall and keep floor clean.

I was debating getting something like this, or going with a french cleat system where I can also make custom cubbies for my power tools. Did anyone try a DIY version?

I did the top 4ft of my garage walls in mdf slat wall, it’s pretty handy to be able to place hooks and holders anywhere you want and rearrange them without leaving holes.

I ended up designing and 3D printing a bunch of these pieces that expand when you put a screw in them so I can hang chargers and lighter weight items right to the slats.

I plan on ripping down 8 foot sheets of plywood and lining one whole wall of my garage with French cleats. Much more customizable and the cost of plywood is cheaper than this stuff not to mention the costs of the hooks and hangers.
