Do these options convert equally with the gift cards at base value?

It ends up being a touch higher then base gift card cost. I believe it was approx 14,700 points for $100 off, where base gift card for $100 is 14,000.
All in all not terrible if you are just wanting to get a cash equivalent back.

Mine is redeeming at $100 = 14,367 points.

In the past, the redeem for RBC Financial Rewards was always the best promotion. Is that on right now? I don't see it mentioned in either this thread or the one on gift-cards, e-transfers, etc.

I'd think the quickest (aka the e-transfers) would be the worst deal/seems to be that. I have an abundance of points (and debt lol) and want to maximize value. Sadly that's never been the 'pay bill' option, but I don't mind waiting a few days more for better value in a TFSA I can withdraw... for instance

Just based on reading the other post in this thread, I'm going to assume that the gift cards at 30% off is better value, which they had for lunar New Year, don't know when that ends but look into it

There’s only 20 gift cards on sale right now and only the premium credit cards get the 30% off. Most of the regular credit cards get the same old 20% off.

For reference, during Black Friday there were over 200 different merchant gift cards on sale through Avion rewards.

Is 30% off the best deal so far to use points on? I could use walmart gift cards.

Will my points be gone if I product switched my Avion Infinite card to Ion? or they'll be converted to (normal) rewards points?
P.s I tried to transfer to BA, but I don't have the minimum 10K points required for a transfer.

You shouldn’t lose any points from a product switch but why switch? I don’t know the Avion infinite card but Ion is the basic free card, no?

What card or account type do you have to get that rate?

Is there a minimum? Tried to use up a couple hundred points on an etransfer, get error and says not sent

No sales or deals in my account. The typical January/February offer is to redeem for financial rewards at 1:100 instead of 1:120 that it is regularly.
