Not seeing this when I log into RBC Rewards
I first heard about this in one of the RBC Visa Infinite Avion sign up offer threads.

When you are logged into the RBC's online banking and access the RBC Rewards from there, you should have a More with Points link in the navigation panel on the left-hand side. On the More with Points page, the RBC Financial Rewards are a little over half way down the page.

You the real MVP. So basically 10,000 RBC points = $100, or 100 Points/$1... Is this the most efficient use of Points?

I think if you have RBC Avion, you can use points for traveling which is like 15,000 pts for up to $350 ticket or something like that.

This is to pay off the principal for an RBC Credit Line, if you have one with RBC (not your credit card bill). Just want to clarify for people before losing out on your points.

Don't have access to the site, but is it all financial rewards, like using points for RRSP/TFSA/Mortgage, or just credit line?

How do you deposit the reward into your credit line? Do you have to go to branch?

Yes, you have to go to the branch once you received the Certificate.

expires tomorrow!?
Offer begins July 3 at 12:01am EST and ends July 20 at 11:59pm EST. Terms and conditions apply. View the RBC Rewards program terms & conditions for full details.

can someone confirm if there is a difference with 1 and 2 when redeeming? it seems option 1. gives more flex with LOC (royal credit line) and more to redeem??

1. RBC Homeline Plan Reward™
Reduce your RBC Homeline Plan ® balance with your RBC Rewards ® points. Redeem your points towards payment of the outstanding principal of a Royal Credit Line ® OR as a Double-Up ® payment for a mortgage loan segment under your RBC Homeline Plan account.

Redemptions start with a minimum of 12,000 RBC Rewards points for a $100 voucher. After that, for each additional 3,000 RBC Rewards points you redeem you receive an additional $25 in vouchers.

2. Royal Credit Line Reward™
You can now redeem your RBC Rewards ® points to make principal only payments towards your Royal Credit Line ® .

Redemptions start with a minimum of 12,000 RBC Rewards points for a $100 voucher. For each additional 3,000 RBC Rewards points you redeem, you receive an additional $25 in vouchers.

Just to confirm, this comes as a certificate you have to pick up at the branch? It isn't an instant value that you can apply right away? Tia :)

If you carry balances on both, my advice would be to redeem your certificate to pay down your Royal Credit Line as Homeline Plan balances and mortgages usually have a lower interest rate than a Royal Credit Line.
