walmart marks down recalled items to 2 cents all the times. because its a walmart recall doesn't mean its unsafe, it could be recalled by the manufacturer for dozen's of reasons (Incorrect labeling, quality control...) walmart could be pulling it (new model released and they are getting full price back for pulling instead of marking it down, end of season and its cheaper to recycle than to markdown...)

Why walmart marks these to 2 cents, who knows... but there is a history of these 2 cent items popping up on RFD. If you buy it at a casher, they won't process the item. You have to go through a self checkout and not get 'caught' by the blue/yellow vests at the front.

I can't believe there are still people on RFD not familiar with 2 cent items at Walmart. There have been so many threads over the years and a lot of them explain what the 2 cent price means.

I've been on rfd since 2003 and don't know what 2 cents means.

None in GVRD. Showing "2" in New West, friend went couldn't find anything.

Walmart isn't selling these, they aren't for sale. Walmart is too cheap to change their system to add a flag for "items not for sale" and instead change the price to 2 cents. People are using the self checkout to buy them for 2 cents when they find items that have not been removed from the shelves yet. If you go to a cashier they will take them away.
