T-Mobile S II should work on Wind, and mostly their will be unlocked versions sold by others (newegg.ca comes to mind)

I haven't searched yet, but is Rogers releasing a competitive LTE data package that is not significantly more then their $30/6GB plan?

hmmm... where have I heard the "It will be here in a month, next week, tomorrow" charade before?

Oh yeah, a year ago when Rogers released the Captivate.

I always take CSR's info with a grain of salt.

I did get my reservation email letting me know their ready to ship my S2 LTE, even then - i wouldnt be surprised if it comes out and shipped next month or so.

Go to http://www.rogerslte.com/new-lte-device ... sunggalaxy and click on "See LTE plan details". If you scroll down to the "Voice & Data Plans", you'll see a decent looking $62.97 / month plan that gives you 200 minutes, eve & weekends starting at 9PM, and one of four options (e.g. unlimited messaging, double your minutes, My 5, unlimited local network calling) - with 2GB of Data. That's the cheapest way to get more than 1GB of Data, I think, and it's LTE to boot.

I'm going to see if Retentions will give me the same $15/month credit on this plan that they offered me on another $60 (non-LTE) plan last week.

Considering Telus doesn't use 1700, it would be there for roaming, or to use a Wind/Tmo sim with.

1700 and 2100 are in there to make it a world phone. Good for Wind and Mobilicity users.

Would I be able to walk in to any Telus store and ask to buy it outright? I called to ask, and the telus rep said they don't sell phones outright

So, does anyone have the time tomorrow to call Customer Relations (Retentions) and ask them when we can expect the Rogers Samsung Galaxy S II LTE?
