[Safeway] Safeway BC - buy 10 boxes of granola bars at $1.99 ea, get 95 bonus airmiles

Buy 10 boxes of Quaker chewy or dipps at Safeway and get 95 BAM.
Each chewy box has 6 bars. Each dipps box has 5 bars. The dipps have double the amount of sugar than the chewy ones - yes I'm aware these are not the healthiest snacks to begin with!
Vancouver Safeway flyer.

95 BAM = $10 (cash airmiles)
So taking this into account, each box of 5 or 6 bars ended up costing me $1 net, not bad!

If you are keen, I guess you can do this next Tue to combine this offer with Customer Appreciation Day, but I think it gets busy at Safeway stores on those days.

I think there are taxes for them.

Greater Saskatchewan…
TIP: Unless you can eat a bar a day (and even that works out to 2 months), double check the BEST BEFORE date. Sometimes the inventory has been on the shelf for a while. Astonished Face

Thanks. The expiration dates on those bars are okay (Safeway King Ed and Oak, Vancouver); but your comment made me check the Nabob organic coffee I bought from the same place, and the expiration date is Aug 1, 2020 - so, I'll be returning the coffee.

You are lucky. Sobeys in Sask. charges me GST + PST. May be each store sets up their system differently?

if you are in AB today, its 15% off day in most of AB.

so 17$ for 10 boxes, and 95 airmiles back.

Different provinces have different tax rates and taxable items.
