Hate to be a buzz kill but these have been in every flyer so far this year. You either get a $10 gc or 100 air miles.

This. $100 in groceries at Safeway would cost like $60 at Superstore.

Anyone know if safeway gift cards can be used to pay for fuel at the gas bars. Referring to regular safeway/sobeys gift card not these $10 ones you get for spending $100

I've found the exact opposite downtown Vancouver. Safeway used to be the most expensive of the three "big players" (Superstore, Save On, Safeway). Now Safeway is much cheaper than Save On. Superstore is cheaper but it's also almost always packed, and the produce/veggies at Superstore are poor quality. I find Safeway is great value these days.

Greater Saskatchewan…
Produce/veggies/fruits are decent at our Safeway but, based on forums here and elsewhere, I think the Inconsistency throughout the chain will be Safeway's downfall.
