Next level cardholder gets $50

Higher level cardholder gets $75

Must be 19+ and the expectation is you'll spend some time/money in casino.

They usually allow small backpacks etc too. Just don't bring your whole travel suitcase set. Free to change return time for up to 48hrs so good for overnight trips.

Here is how to get the roundtrip for cheap by playing video roulette machine:

roundtrip ride ends up costing just a few bucks

The breakdown:
$45 payment for the bus
$40 loaded onto your free casino player's card upon arrival (Momentum card)

Then bet $19 on red, $19 on black. $1 on 0, $1 on 00. No matter the wheel outcome you'll win back $36-$38 in real cash that you can redeem immediately.

Do you have to visit the casino? Do they check it somehow?

Yup. They check your casino players card to make sure you're actually playing at casino.

What'd a good amount of money to spend at the casino before they give you issues? I usually just do $10 lol

Do you need the new players card to get the $10 deal? It looks like they changed their loyalty program since I last took this bus.

The account numbers are the same afaik and the casino will give you a new card to replace your old card when you arrive. I think Safeway will accept your old card for boarding. Now if they honor your previous card status for a free ride I’m not sure

Safeway doesn’t have access to that information because it’s a privacy issue.

Safeway doesn't but the casino does. A casino rep boards every arriving Safeway bus and scans each player's card. If you're not playing they'll know and speak to you.

The reason for the card swipe when you exit the bus is so the casino knows how many people Safeway is bringing in and so so they can put the rewards (slot play) on your account. Unless you abuse the service and are identified by Safeway of abusing the service they won’t have any reason to “check” your card for game play.

safeway gets some of the results of how much was played at the casino and mentions it on the return trip. I've seen it happen several times. The casino certainly is checking on people who use the bus service. But this is new management, maybe they wont care for a while.

Except for embarrassment, otherwise you can still take the return bus home, but you might be blacklisted for the future.

BTW, unless you had a long history of rewards or playing with the casino with previous casino management, otherwise it's a clean slate for everyone else, even those who abused the bus service.

If you get $40 for the basic casino card go play video roulette.

$1 on 0, $1 on 00, split the rest between red/black and you'll get back your bus fare every trip.

doesn’t 0 or 00 only pay 17 to 1? I haven’t played in a long time but this is a great idea if it pays 35 to 1
