Salmon run at old mills station

This is a good spot to watch Salmon run.

Does anybody know if the Salmon starting to jump yet (as of Sept 20, 2019)?

Too early, I would think

Living in Eastern Ontario... we usually head to Salmon River in NY to see the fish come up stream to spawn
The Salmon River Fish Hatchery is the biggest Fish Hatchery for Salmon (Fall) and Trout (Spring)
On the lower Great Lakes ... Ontario & Erie

Things don’t really get going there until just after our Thanksgiving / their Columbus Day

Yes, this is a great spot to watch the salmon. You have to walk upstream to the first dam, around 500 m. It should be good around Thanksgiving.

How long does it last? I would want to go watch it too. And my Old Mill Station, you mean the one on Line 2 in Toronto, right?

It lasts a few weeks, and usually the second week of October is a good time to view them. Etienne Brule park is a good viewing spot.
