[Visions Electronics] Samsung 46” Series 6 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV - (LN46B610) $899 Visions

Didn't see this posted yet but seems like a pretty good deal. Last year's model but still a solid TV. Considered it around December last year and it was roughly $1200 on sale. A steal at $899.

What is the difference between Samsung B610/B630 and B640/B650?

i have the 52" 610 and absolutely love it. what a great deal!

I believe the 640 has a glossy finish as opposed to the 610 (matte) and the 640 also has the online widgets (or whatever Samsung calls it) capability

$40 shipping to Toronto for me...

Anyone know if they should be charging PST on this since its out of province? I called and asked and they said that they remit the PST to the Province on our behalf... I always thought that when you buy out of province you dont pay PST...

Really? I'm in Toronto and was quoted $15 for regular shipping.

was this through your shopping cart page, the "calculate shipping charges" option? what postal code did you use? I tried two different postal codes in Toronto and one in Mississauga, they all came out to $46.70

My understanding is that the PST is charged depending on where your purchase location is. So I am in BC, so I would get all the charges from BC even if I purchased from Ontario..

I could be wrong though.

There are 2 visions 10 km within my area. However, Regular shipping is $46.70 and express shipping $272.34.

So, has anyone in Ontario ordered this? I'm wondering what the final price is (excluding shipping) with taxes and "other" fee included. I may take the plunge on this one.

Was hoping to be able to PM at Futureshop, however they only carry the LN46C610. Wonder what the difference is, and if you could slip it past FS for a killer of a deal :) Would be around $857+tax if possible..

It's also fascinating how 2 kids from different parents looked identical and both played the role of baby michelle on full house and now 20 some years later, they still look identical.
