If they truly wanted to give you the essentials then they would take away the rear camera. The most useless item on a tablet since day 1.
Rear camera is starting to make more sense with the advent of all these AR apps.

I wish they have the same design for a 8”-8.5” tab
Mi Pad 4 might be up your alley.

Hey guys, so this or the 2018 Ipad? I know the iPad is cheaper, but in terms of general performance, does the A10 stack up against the SD670. Also the 4GB vs 2GB ram. Decisions.

Samsung AMOLED display > all ipads for video viewing imo since the contrast is just too good vs LCD. Everything else I'd be inclined to get ipad since iOS is better suited for tablets with its app optimizations

Important to note that it is missing S Pen support

The Tab S5 should launch later this year with the Note10 with reportedly a Snapdragon 855

Does The Source not carry the 6GB RAM/128GB storage version?

This is tempting. So $550 (64GB) is the MSRP but with the pre-order you get the AGK headphones included.
But I don't need another BT headset, so is waiting until it's released and hoping for a sale or using Staples coupons a better deal?

Straight from samsungs website
Galaxy Tab S5e comes bundled with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM or 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM storage sizes, and up to 512GB of external memory with microSD card support. Now you can keep your device running at optimal levels when you’re gaming or streaming online content.

It will be like 40% more expensive too.

Not really the same category. 5e is meant to be midrange against iPad, while S5 would be targetting iPad Pro Class (not saying they can do better than iPad / Pro, just saying that is what the target audiences )

Sorry for off topic. My tab S2 couldn't turn on since last month. I have tried all the tricks from the internet (power down + volumn, etc), even replaced a new battery... all failure to turn on the Samsung tab s2 tablet.
Any idea?
Thanks
I think it's safe to say that EMMC is gone. Or the display. If it's the display then it should be seen by a PC if you connect. Either way you'll have to invest either in parts (mobo,or screen which are still quite expensive for S2), or buy a new one (you can find S2 8.0 for about $200 on Kijiji, or Samsung has them on sale now). I had the same thing on OG Note 10.1, nothing I did would help, even changing the battery and on/off switch, so I moved on.
