How disappointing. A big company like Samsung uses a photoshoped image. I thought I could only see these kind of images on ebay. What a cheapskate.

What's photoshopped about it?

antutu 160,000 not bad

I have the original 10.5 S and one of my best purchases and now I feel I got enough millage out of it. Ive been waiting for something similar with better performance and a reasonable price. Hopefully this wont disappoint.
160k is the same as a Snapdragon 821 (which is barely faster then the 820), so you're looking at 3 year old flagship numbers. Don't expect snappy with today's apps.

Please take this into account as well when buying a tablet if you ever want to edit documents from MS OFFICE.

Core editing is available for free on Android devices with screen sizes of 10.1 inches or less. The extra features below are available on Android tablets and phones with a qualifying Office 365 subscription

My tab s scores 40,000 on antutu with custom rom. Never had a problem with slow downs but then again I'm not gamer . For the price I just hope the screen is an improvement over the tab s4 or same quality, then I'm happy

Sorry for off topic. My tab S2 couldn't turn on since last month. I have tried all the tricks from the internet (power down + volumn, etc), even replaced a new battery... all failure to turn on the Samsung tab s2 tablet.
Any idea?
Thanks
I think this may have happened to me. I think i solved it by holding the power button down for well over a minute (despite forums saying 10 seconds was enough). Could have been holding the up or down volume button at the same time. Worth a try.

but there's no S5 regular edition (from what I can tell)

weird they'll add an E at the end with no other variants.
maybe they plan to come out with a more expensive edition later? $650 is pretty rich already for a tablet.

E stands for essentials . Rumor is they will release a upgraded tab s5 but it's going to cost

It's fine I have a tab s2 and a tab s3 and it's not even that big of a difference in speed. Most people are going to be happy with the performance of this device since it's comparable to S3

To get into download mode "Power + volume down + home" buttons for at least 30 seconds. Assuming you have some battery left.

that would probably cost $1k+ to compete with ipad pro.

Still think the price match discount on ipad 6 with staples and the source a few weeks back was better.
Came down to around $330 CAD after tax for the 32g wifi model.

The best part is that it has an audio jack unlike the more modern models. I still have no idea what hotshot thought taking that away was such a brilliant idea Confused Face

Long time Android tablet user here. I just couldn't bring myself to buy another Android tablet, despite how much I wanted to. Google and other 3rd parties seem to have mostly abandoned the market. Look how few options there are, particularly on the high end. I bought an HP X2 Convertible Chromebook instead. I enjoy knowing that I'll get my OS updated regularly for years. It also comes with a keyboard and stylus and has been great for work or play (Chrome OS runs Android apps if you weren't already aware). Something to at least consider if you are in the market for a tablet.
