I don't believe this comes with the Google apps/play store which gives me the willies. I like having a working tablet out of the box.
This is the international version, and it comes with the play store.

isn't it cheaper to buy it from stapes with the 20$ off purchases over 200$ coupon with cashback from greatcanadianrebates?
or any other cheaper alternatives to buy this tablet?

i looked into the xiaomi tablet too from aliexpress but last time when i bought a chinese tablet i had to pay 75$ import fees and that broke the deal

Put on your glasses. There is a large GPlay logo above the tablet picture.

I am not sure, probably try your luck. But I think even if there is any importing tax, it shouldn't be too much, considering the price of the tablet.

Source? The Youtube page says, "Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Tab S5e devices will also come with a 4-month offer once available for purchase. And all other Samsung Galaxy device owners who activate a device between February 20, 2019 - February 29, 2020 will be able to try YouTube Premium for 2 months free*. Both 4- and 2-month offers are available globally where Samsung Galaxy devices and YouTube Premium are available**.

**Offer available to participants in the United States, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada (excluding Quebec)..."

Galaxy S10 and Tab S5e = 4 months, other galaxy devices = 2 months

GCR offering 1.3%, so $6.50 and $20 off?

Some early reviews

Pros so far
600 nit display
price
small bezels
good wifi performance
good speakers
good battery

Cons
Weak GPU but then again the tab S 5 with new snapdragon will cost significantly more money and in comparison to tab s4 id rather have a better display then gpu.
even though display supports HDR no software support for youtube, netlix or amazon prime video

In the market for a tablet for the family for general leisure and bed side reading, netflix and tv.

That kinda sucks? I will watch the reviews tonight but are there plans to have HDR supported in the future hopefully? It's a shame for a tablet/OLED screen like this not to support HDR to say the least, S4 supported HDR so this is a bit of a weird decision if it doesn't work on s5e.
