Samsung Curved 32 inch monitor

I got this Samsung 32inch curved monitor. I can’t seem to get a sharp picture at 1080p. Fonts are jagged especially in Chrome.

Anyone have this model? Any suggestions to make the picture bearable? I know it’s not 4K but 1080p should display a decent picture no?

Thanks.

32" at 1080p with how close you'd be to the display will always look "jagged." That's just what happens when you're dealing with a Pixel density of 68.84ppi.

I know a lot of people can't even stand 1080p on a 27" display and opt for at least 1440p. 1080p on a 27" is 81.53ppi

The monitor is at arms length. Maybe a little further. So it doesn’t matter what type of video card I have it won’t make a difference? I had a 27” before. I don’t think I can justify the $250 price if the picture is that poor.

Also, what’s the purpose of having a larger screen when the quality degrades the bigger it gets? Who would want that?

Do you have a screenshot? I can't imagine it's that bad.

Just throwing this out there but did you set the refresh rate properly? I remember I had an issue (can't remember what) but it turned out that the refresh rate was set too low by default. It should have been 60 hz.

If you're using an hdmi cable then try plugging something else in, like a blu-ray player, another computer (laptop?), or an android box. See how those look.

Got a 27" Curved MSI on BD and out of the box it looked bad, had to change the settings and add an ICC color profile, looks great now. It's 1080p and a Samsung panel, do yourself a favor and Google that model # for any corrections that need to be made.

I tried. I couldn’t find anything. I took the panel back.
