The galaxy upgrade website is offering me more than the official Samsung store. Do I just purchase the phone outright from the Samsung store and then go on galaxy upgrade after to trade in my phone for the higher value? Is that an option?
Which phone are you seeing the difference?
Also is there a substantial difference between the 10+ and 10?
Based on the specs (especially the display), to me the Note10 is a more of a Note10e.

I put a note 8 and the website is only offering like $20 whereas the galaxy upgrade website offers $625

If you select the top Note 8 option from the list, in good condition it should give you a trade-in value of $225.

This plus the pre-tax $200 trade-in bonus along with the extra $200 Note after-tax bonus would beat using galaxyupgrade.ca:

Oh wait what the heck there's 2 different note options? Thanks for checking that for me.

Whats the difference in display between them? Dang it that sucks. The note plus is way more expensive

Had the Note 9. Love the 10+, camera is a lot better, screen is a bit bigger and battery life has been out of this world. Also got the Aura Glow colour which is stunning. I hope to keep this phone for a while but I always say that.
@Pr0metheus, did you have Note 9, 128GB? What was the trade in value for you? I got a trade in value of $369, just want to make sure I'm doing this right. Thanks!

Samsung got rid of Note II for trade in. Luckily the Samsung Trade Up program still accepts it and I bought one through a store.

Yeah that's what I traded in and value was $378, but it's probably gone down a few bucks.

Better off getting S10 or S10+ than regular Note 10.

Is it actually that bad? Oh God, why is that?

My note 8 is in abysmal shape. Am I better off going into a store? Is there a chance they'll just be like okay, whatever and give me the full value?

The resolution difference is pretty significant. The S10/S10+ both have 3040x1440 screens, like the Note10+. But the Note10 is only 1080 x 2280, the same as the S10e. Another important difference for some people is that it also loses microSD support plus only 8GB of memory, no time-of-flight camera and limited to 25W charging.

Since you've got a store in Edmonton, it doesn't hurt to see. But based on the feedback in the Samsung threads, it seems like the stores (Samsung or third-party) have been more picky about the condition.

True, i'm just worried. Technically I think it could turn on, but the screen is so damaged that i'm not sure if I say that it isn't functional because you technically can't navigate any menus with how damaged the screen is.

The Note 10 and Note 10+ are only $200 apart.

On Samsung Canadas website they actually have the Note 9 listed for more than the Note 10 @ $1299 whereas the Note 10 is listed for $1259 but have Note 9 "on sale" atm for $999.
