Everywhere I see, that update is showing up as 5.0 lollipop...

yeah, seems strange. What happens if you switch your CSC to Koodo? Will it show Marshmallow available? Warning, will wipe your phone. See below for instructions

Yup, Sm-n900w8 only shows 5.0 on sammobile.com and Samsung-updates.com.

I'll have to try this later on my unlocked note 3.

Looked around and the PDA on IB Times seems to match the PDA for 5.0 as per samsung-firmware.org, samsung-updates.com, and sammobile.com.

I have downloaded and installed. NOPE this is NOT Android 6. It is Android 5 !

It may not be 6.0 but it is much smoother after this update. Lollipop had weird multitasking lag before this update
