true true

406.8 (medium tab) - 150 (HUP) - 150 (BB GC) + 39.55 ( Activation fee) + maybe 6 (if i go with prepaid visa)

= 146.35 (or 152.35) for S9!
What's HUP and how do you get it? I just got s9 and they did not apply anything.

I've done this every year at BB for the past 4 years, with AB number trick, and port out the same day. No blacklist yet.
That's not very nice and you are pretty lucky. The rep did all the work and couldn't get the bonus.

Rep activation 30 activations and was about to get a $500 bonus but you canceled on the same day.

They just lost $500 because of you. Anyway, for those who are planning to cancel, just do it after 90 days.
Safer and better for everyone.

If you are going on an extended vacation overseas you can suspend the phone
Hmmm this is new to me. So rather than the full monthly price of the plan, Koodo will charge you $10-15/month to basically put the plan "on hold" or suspended?

In other words, you would be paying $30-45 to stay in Best Buy's good books (assuming you cancel after 3 months)?

Any repercussions from Koodo?

Math would be (360 tab + 35 activation) *1.12 (taxes) - 150 BB GC + 30 or 45 ("good books fee")?

So when people get these as an upgrade, is it just a hardware upgrade? My plan won't change and it's just applied to my empty tab?

Is this a temporary thing and you cancel after one month, costing you $10? Or is this the plan you intend to stay on?

Pretty sure the HUPs can only be used towards the initial price of the phone and not the tab. So if it's 0 dollars then you can't use the HUP... could be wrong and the staff didn't know the difference.
That's what I was told too...

If you wish to cancel the next day on PM, they won't mind as it is a prepaid service.

Can someone confirm that Best Buy sells Visa Pre-Paid Cards/Visa Gift Cards. All I see online are Best Buy Gift Cards and Xbox Gift Cards:

https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/Search/Sea ... ard+online

I don't want to get stuck with a best buy gift card as I don't shop there often.
Yes, they do in store.

Is it possible to get this deal as an upgrade, even if I activated my line on BF - less than 1 month now.

Question if you have 30$ left on your tab say with Virgin mobile and you want to transfer to Koodo to get this deal do you have to pay off your tab first or will they bill you later?

You can port now which will cancel your service and Virgin will bill you later.
