Got it, so it’s because they are likely on the $60 10 go deal from last year? So going with this deal and staying with Koodo is still a good move for 8-10gb?

Sorry I’m a bit of a noob with this stuff
yes its still a good deal. I got the s9 and cqncelled because im with zoomer and happy with it. but their phones suck and I need a new phone. $295 all in for a brand new S9 is hard to argue with.
Got that Zoomer account!

You're good just for Ontario prices are always ridiculous. Still good deal. Keep your eyes open for any plan offering like the previous 10gb for 60. Your wife can call in and change in future

Hey guys, I’m just wondering, why is everyone cancelling with Koodo?
I'm with Koodo and they are a solid provider. They run on the Telus network. I have no issues and their LTE speed and call quality is excellent.
They offer competitive rate plans and often reward existing customers with hardware and plan deals.

What you are seeing here are the shameless opportunists taking advantage of the fact Koodo offers these great deals for new and existing customers.
They just want to buy the phones and resell them.
Koodo doesn't seem to care as they could easily prevent this with stiff cancellation penalties.

Yup. It's most likely they're on a non tab eligible plan or small tab eligible plan. Koodo probably has the best plans and coverage/speeds.

Actually the more likely scenario is that 50% of the people that get this is just flipping the phone for profit.

No. Your line must be at least 90 days before you can HUP. Store rep needs to call Koodo to for authorization. When Koodo rep seen your line was open 1 months ago, you will be denied.
Have too many phones... This is how I limit my monthly phone payment.
Koodo $30 plan, PM $38 5GB plan, PM $8 plan to replace Speakout,
Zoomer loyalty family plan for 4 lines $117/6GB, $0 FPL home phone

Thanks!! so it just can't be done? Or if it gets authorized somehow, then it's OK?

This is a pretty good deal but it's not boxing day yet so I'm wondering if there will be even better deals? I wasn't looking for phones last year so not sure to wait or pull the trigger.

Can I get any of these phones with a HUP? Does it have to specify?

Not true, I got one yesterday and today. I just had to pay off the $360 tab. I received the $150 gift card on both.
Current cell plans:
Fido $15 3gb
Koodo $40 for 5GB Public Mobile migration plan.

Affordable wireless is possible, just takes some creativity.

Boxing Day deals likely won't be better than this for an 8 or S9, but you can hope.

Nice, girlfriend smashed her phone screen recently on her original pixel. Wanted the new one until I told her it doesn't have a headphone jack so she got this yesterday at the Kelowna Best Buy. Pretty slick deal.
