I love my galaxy watch, didn't think I would. Turned out to be my favorite deal last year.

Seems like it's only the 42mm sadly, while the 46mm is only $50 off.

Good price. Too bad it's only the classic 42mm and not the 46mm.

Edit: As some have noted, if you choose the bespoke version, you can get the classic 46mm on 50% off sale as well.

Cant checkout on the EPP sites

As someone who has owned this since launch and wears it daily - I would not reccomend it. Get the Fossil which has the true WearOS experience. Galaxy Watch has too many Samsung-created issues and lack of a true Google Assistant greatly limits its use. Bixby is garbage, less than useless. I am never buying another Samsung watch again, nor trusting them when they say something "is coming" - we have been waiting for Google Assistant for a solid year now.

If you decide to ignore me,be aware that if you get the LTE model it is impossible to place calls entirely hands-free by voice, because every time you do it your watch will pop up a dialog box. It is the most ridiculous thing ever.

No trade-in rebate ?

We have used these for 5 months and are thoroughly happy. No bugs or crashes at all. Great for GPS, health monitoring, ECG, taking phone calls, and notifications.

The battery life is a whole day.

I think there is a glitch on the EPP sites that don't allow you to checkout bespoke editions.

Note that 42mm has the same battery non-classic 40mm has : 247mAh

if you want ~2day battery life, you need the 44mm/46mm 361mAh one.

My original galaxy watch 46mm lasts almost a week per charge, why are they getting worse?

I am not using a Samsung Galaxy phone. Are there any features from the watch4 I can't use?

I'm a bit surprised too - I have heartrate tracking set to continuous on my Galaxy watch and have a third party watch face that I'm sure isn't optimized but I still get a good 4 days without having to charge.

I guess it's the price to pay for the new features, but they aren't so incredible I'd be willing to halve (or more) my battery life.

Why downgrade to this when you can get the original galaxy watch which is better?

I have the regular Galaxy Watch 4 and it's been pretty solid. Battery life seems to be YMMV but mine has been decent and lasts a day or two even using it on some workouts (though stopped a bit due to injuries). I do have Always on Display off though. It's definitely not the best battery I had though.

No real complaints from me other than Google Assistant still missing and ECG/Blood Pressure not here. Also, I'm not the biggest fan of the App Drawer since it's just icons and I sometimes don't know what app I'm going to open.

Samsung Health is a decent Health app (can't compare it to any Apple stuff since I don't have an iPhone)

Blame Google not having Google Assistant ready for Watch OS 3. They said it should be soon but no real concrete date sucks. Maybe during Google I/O? Even then, Google Assistant was garbage on WearOS and barely worked half the time.

I wouldn't even consider the Fossil Watches until they completely fix the bezel rusting then coming off issue. And on top of that, WearOS is still pretty whatever as a whole. The Samsung flavour of WearOS on this watch is miles better than what's found on vanilla WearOS.

And as a person who's probably had like 5+ smart watches from Tizen and WearOS (I've had the OG LG G Watch, Moto 360, Galaxy Gear, Wear24, Galaxy Watch 3, Galaxy Watch Active 1 & 2, etc.) the Galaxy Watch 4 is up there being the best I used.

Still not available. My guess is Health Canada is taking too long to approve it or it didn't get approved. Who knows.
