Samsung has officially unveiled the 2022 Galaxy A series this morning.
A33/A53/A73 5G.

So far, it seems only the A53 5G is available for preorder in Canada.
Price is $589 CAD.
Galaxy Buds Live will be automatically added to cart.
Available on April 1st. (NO JOKE.)

Wondering how much A33 would cost? Seems like A33 has the same SoC as A53; just lower-spec screen and cameras.

EDIT: in UK A33/A53 are £329/£399 respectively; if at the same ratio, A33 would cost around C$489.

Yeah. That is so stupid.Why do they do like that? Its same phone and quality like in Asia right? I want every phone to dual sim here in NA.

Tried new coffee and doughnut. Found same old stale thing. expected bill of six bucks but it was 600 million. Big mistake so the guy said don't worry it is on the house. going back to McD.

i didnt upvote/downvote this thread in particular, but if the A53 does indeed use a exynos chipset, i think i will stick to A52 (likely to be discounted once A53 becomes available) for the SD chipset instead

I need to upgrade my S10+ soon and I was just waiting for this event. Seems like a better buy than the base S22. Too bad they're not doing the $300 trade in for old phones like the S phones though.

Yeah, which made the base S22 a better buy with trade-in promo.

The A53 is not much of an upgrade over the S10+, don't kid yourself.

The Snapdragon 855 in the S10 may even be faster than the Exynos 1280 in the A53 (remains to be seen).

It's possible the camera tech may be better on the A53, but even that isn't clear.
