You can always call their customer service...
But at that point I'd just go to a store. Ask them to price match the Samsung price with tax discount.

The rep said open/demo unit pricing may vary, but I didn't bother calling each store (they're too far from me anyway).
That's when there was that first responder deal a few months ago, I think it's c9 model maybe it's 2019 model. Was in store available at the time. 55 inch the guy said oh even after promotion of you can come he can give that deal too. I have a ok 4k 48 inch hdr tv already and got it free so pretty happy with it. A few years later I'll get 8k.only 8k I miss the visuals on is the dell UP3218K, those are awesome but breaks easily.

I'm confused, are you talking about the LG C9 or the Samsung Q900R for $1,700? The former would be somewhat normal pricing, the ladder would be a deal.

Visions quoted me $1763 for the 65Q80T so about an 8% discount on the $1913 direct from Samsung price.

How did you get this price? I called Visions and they said they can do $1875 plus tax

I find shopping and negotiating at Visions is like a car dealership. One price on sticker, one price over the phone, another price if you show up and yet another after the obligatory “I need to check with my manager”. Disgusting but saves you some $ if you have the patience. The $1763 was the price after the manager came in and said “we had a great day today, I don’t really need this sale but we want to take care of you”. I threw up a bit in my mouth at that line.

Thanks for the quick response! Good to know, will try my luck and pull the trigger if I can get it for $1763. I can't imagine it going any lower on Black Friday?

I'm seeing $1599 for the 55' Q80T on the Samsung website. Anybody else see it? Says it's until 15 Oct. 2020, 23:59 ET. It's sold out, but wondering if I can get it price matched at Visions. I'll provide updates tonight.

I see it back in stock but regular price of $1799. After the Savethetax coupon (ON), it comes out to $1,565.99, and when it reaches checkout, its $1,769.57.

Strange. When I visit the site on my work computer, shows regular price. But when I go on my phone, the sale price shows.

Edit: I'm seeing the sale on my work computer now, but out of stock. When it wasn't on sale, it was in stock. Weird.

Edit 2: lol Now it's not on sale again on my work computer, but in stock. What's going on with the website...

Edit 3: Showing up on my desktop again. Took a screenshot this time.

Yeah it's showing $1799.99 and in stock now. Maybe they screwed up and it wasn't supposed to be a double dip of sale price and save the tax? They should honor it at least but who knows.

You got it for $1350 tax in? That's even better than the Samsung website price.

Anyone know if the life style TVs see much discounts during the Black Friday sale in the past? Quite interested in the serif. But not sure if I should wait until Black Friday.
