Even cheaper than some of the chargers found on Amazon by 3rd party.

I'm sure some 3rd party could go a bit cheaper, but this is official and you know it'll work and have super fast charging support for Samsung phones.

Sitenote, a bit annoying, but you do need a Samsung Account

Charging is regulated by the smartphone's or tablet's internal electronics. Having a faster charger won't really help any if you are using the original charger provided with the smartphone or tablet..

The Galaxy S20 FE supports 25W wired fast charging, but it ships with the 15W charger in the box.

I wanted to buy this, but no cable in the box and this charger uses USB C to USB C which I don't have and will need to purchase separately.

I wonder if fast charging makes the battery hot.

Is it speed of charging that cooks/heats up batteries or is it duration of charge?

Unless your phone can charge at a higher rate than the OE charger output (S9 FE for example).

25w is not consider fast charge anymore.. perhaps 60w or higher.

New Samsung phones as of 2021 do not have chargers included with them IIRC so chances are this may be necessary for a lot of people.

Yeah starting with S21 for environmental reasons Samsung stopped shipping phones with chargers.
