Also, it looks like most buyers here including me went with the "conservative" option and went for the Cloud Navy colour. I was going to get the Cloud White, but since it is a plastic back, I'm concerned that it won't stay white for long and will become a dark, patchy mess. The white looks great in the pictures though. I was seriously considering the Cloud Red as well, with such an eye-catching colour -- however, most pictures show the red as having more of an orange hue rather than the Apple red kind of colour.
Why settle for MSRP when you can wait and get it at a lower price? 😉

Got orange. Always gone for blue/black but now it's time for a change. I googled orange S20 FE and it looks pretty cool.

Anyone having issues with the screen?? I haven't received mine yet but thinking of returning it if it has issues and go with the s20 5g

No issue here.

Screen is perfect, a bit color saturated, but can be adjusted a bit.

My only complaint so far is that it's not Netflix HDR certified yet

I personally don't expect perfection for the screen at this price, but it is AMOLED technology which is older, but still good --- up to a certain point. I've read that the viewing angle isn't as wide as the regular S10's and S20's and there's some noticeable rainbowing when viewing off angle. However, content consumption and daily use is generally fine with clear, vibrant colours. At least that's what I've read so far from my research into the screen and is generally fine for daily use. It can't be worse than the Pixel 2XL which really skimped on the screen considering it was flagship pricing when it came out. From what it sounds like overall, the screen will have that characteristic "classic Samsung flavour" to it in terms of colour profile and appearance.

Yes, orange is a unique and fun colour for sure. I'm just not sure I can carry it though, and it might clash with my wardrobe. Face With Stuck-out Tongue And Tightly-closed Eyes lol There were many smartphones that were available in orange from the likes of Oppo, Huawei, Xiaomi, Samsung, and even iPhone XR. It's certainly eye-catching since you don't see an orange phone every day.

No issues with screen so far.

Overall, I'm pretty pleased with the phone. Haven't had many opportunities to take pics yet since we just at home most of the time. At $705 (albeit with discounts), I think this pretty much beats OnePlus as a "flagship killer." (The recent 8t is more flagship than
flagship killer these days). It has enough premium features to satisfy most users. Still getting used to the size though, this is easily the biggest phone I've had. Battery life is decent but not amazing. With 4500 mAh I was hoping for some crazy battery life. But with 6.5" screen and 120hz refresh rate I think battery is used more.

Samsung Clear case is quite bulky, so stay away.

The case is very solid, pretty sure it really protects the phone, but it's massive.

I know Spigen case normally are thin, but didn't check for Samsung

Haha I thought about that too but when I actually looked at the actual phone on youtube videos, it was more of a mango color than orange. But I decided to get a blue case just in case lol

I got the red one with a clear case. Never had a phone other then black, grey or navy. We'll see if I eventually throw on a darker case.

So probably not worth it now right when you don't get the pre order bonus anymore?

I was thinking about it but forgot to decide lol.

If you can get it for 705 I think it's still a good deal.

The deal was the 150$ dummy phone and the 10% SPC/Workopolis.

The bonus were fine, got the UV Sanitizer because I wouldn't buy this normally, but it's not a deal breaker not getting them.

As for sending my 0$ phone, not sure as I can dispose of it at any electronic store.
I've gone skimmed through all the pages through this thread - but wasn't able to confirm whether it was necessary to send in the $0 trade in phone, as the $150 discount was already applied at the time of purchase. My phone has not been shipped yet, but I remember reading there would be follow up instructions to ship the trade in phone. Did you end up sending in your phone? Is there any point - unless they are able to somehow back charge you for the $150?

Thanks

Edit : Using the word "send" in the search led me to something I must have missed. samsung-pre-order-samsung-s20-fe-get-bo ... #p33212515

"I think the previous thread on the S20 trade in offer of a bonus $250, people have said just select other-> other phone and then get a fake IMEI from an online generator so the trade in itself is worth $0 and then just never send anything in to trade. since the trade in is $0 there will be no penalty."

You do not need to trade the 0$ phone.

Got an email yesterday that said; Do you still want to trade your phone...

I doubt you have to and will be charged 150$ if not. But it's a good way to recycle your phone.
