I was looking at the iPad Pro / upcoming iPad Air 4 / S7 and I know that the Apple tablet market is significantly higher than the Android one simply due to not many high end android tablets out there.

I dont use apple anything, totally Android, but im curious if what the available apps is in comparison to iPad.

I'd like to be able to edit raw image files with Lightroom CC, they make a version specifically for iPad OS and while there is one of Android I'm not sure if its tablet optimized as well?

I know the specs on the s7 are great, I'm just wondering if it has the ecosystem of apps out there to justify its significant price point.

Better stick to Chromebook or Windows. Android on tablet is close to dead, especially for expensive tablets like this, even Google stopped making tablets. The tablet market is iOS or Chromebook (2-in-1).

A cheap Android tablet is nice for media consumption, Web (through Web apps). But an expensive one... Unless having a very good reason to...

Yeah I looked into it and going by Samsung now promising "3 major updates" but these launching with Android 10 means Android 13 in 2022 will already be the last one. That isn't exactly great...

Does anyone know if Samsung Canada is doing the tablet trade in promo like in the US? Apparently you can trade in older tablets and get $200-400 off the S7
