Okay! Samsung Canada stepping up their promo game. Hopefully it'll eventually be like the states with $150 trade in + $150 off + free headphones and what not.

Correct price is $960. Not everyone has a phone to trade in.

I've ordered it a few hours ago.

It's $810 + tax. In addition, whatever the value of the phone you are trading in, once you ship the device to them, they'll rebate back to you.

It's not, not unless you have a really expensive phone you wanna trade in (and you'll get lowballed anyway).

In this deal, you get the phone for $810+tax - (some small amount of trade-in for a crappy phone).

With Koodo, you pay $450 + $504 large tab + $15 SIM card - $150 = $819. The up to $400 BB gift card is again if you're trading in a really expensive phone (that you probably should sell privately). Not to mention, you take a credit hit with Koodo and have to go through the hassle of cancelling.

IMO, OP's deal is better.

Website says the S8+ is worth $350 trade-in value.

So if I want to get a S9+, it will cost $1100-$450=$650+tax. Is it a good deal? Will there be a better deal later on?

I bought my brand new sealed S8+ for $750 six months ago.

Why wouldn't you try to sell it to the secondary market (Kijiji, LetGo, Craigslist, Pacific Mall etc) and try to get more than the $350 they're offering you? (*assuming you took real good care of your existing phone)
