Samsung S20 trade in question

Hi I have a question. I got a deal where I bought a Samsung s20 with trade in for my pixel 3axl . The trade in is 90 dollars. The promotion was 450 + 130 dollar headset. I am wondering if I don't send my pixel in do I just loose 90 dollars or do I owe them the promotion as well. I called Samsung but no one could give me a definitive answer. Anyone with experience?

Did they give you $90 off the phone or will you get the money once you send in your phone? I dix that same promo and since my phone was worth $0 i didnt send it in. They emailed me a couple times askinfg if I still wanted to trade in my phone but I kept the trade discount of $450.

Please don’t confuse my kindness for weakness.
