[Samsung] Samsung Canada 20% off mobile devices (EPP Venngo)

Just received this EPP offer through Venngo, (Major Canadian Bank) up to 20% off all Samsung mobile phones. I checked out the link and it looks like 99% of phones get the full 20% off including the newest releases. It might be worth checking out for anyone that has EPP/Venngo access and prefers to buy phones outright vs contract through the carriers.

Edit- looks like it includes some tablets however most are OOS.

$1849.99 for the 128 GB Samsung S20 Ultra. With tax it's more than $2100 in most provinces. For a phone that will get outdated in a year!

Please do not encourage this, because they are only going to charge more and more if people keep buying them.

True, I think that applies to most flagship phones. The discount however would reduce the price to $1479 plus tax.

That is honestly an amazing price. Also, you have to factor in cost to use ratio. Not sure about some people but let's say you buy a new phone outright every two years. At $2000 that equates to just $2.75/day. For the price of a coffee/tea I'd say it is a price many will justify.

I'd pull the trigger but telling myself to wait for the Samsung Note 20 that will be released in August. Will be similar price, maybe a little more. If I'm lucky it'll still apply to the phone then.

Wow, sounds like a fantastic deal you got. I wish Apple would offer a similar deal.

Ummm.. I dont think $200 is more than 20% off unless you had the spc card to get additional discounts.
At least the s20 has 5G. Any phone that do not have 5g would get dated really fast. Those folding screen phones are all over $2000 but no 5G.

It was a stackable deal. 20% off + $200 off. I traded an old crappy phone and and got the s20 for $855 + tax.

It was $200 off + 20% off. And this was all before tax. (And then for some, + 5% Rakuten)

Yes but it's the continuous, ridiculous price increases that worry me, especially that people who are so desperate to have the top Android phone on the market are willing to pay so much. Even Linus Sebastian's review of it is titled "Please don't buy this phone".

For a good bit less than that, I ordered both a Xiaomi Mi 10 and a Huawei P40 from AliExpress, for my wife and me, and these two will have an equivalent or slightly better camera. And even I find that this was too much money.

2 years ago they let people stack SPC and Venngo codes (10% each) with the Trade in discount, plus some other savings. Could get a 512gb s10+ for like $699.

That was nuts.
