Based on my recent research, S20 has a slightly better IP rating (1.5M vs 1M), a slightly better camera (based on quality of image comparison although on paper A52 has more MP) and a slightly better processor (based on benchmark tests but no real noticeable difference in every day use). Due to price difference, I personally went with the A52. Did not look into the S10.

I got my A52 with fido for 0 down, 10$ per month for 24 months + 100 $ credit after 2 months. Activation fee of 50$ was waived. Had to get the 55$ monthly plan with 25GB data plus 5gb free bonus data. When I signed on, they told me that I can change plan after I receive my new phone so now I'm on a 40$/month 3gb + 5 GB bonus data plan.

I would also wait to see if the Pixel 5a which is now 5G and has IP68 as well is coming to Canada or not. But still a good find, thanks OP

It isn't coming to Canada. It's only USA and Japan region.

Also it's IP67, not 68. Still water resistant but not as much as most flagships.

The 5G A52 is not as good as the 4G version.

I had S20 Fe since last Nov and never had an issue with the screen. I heard it was fixed in software.

It US and Japan only for now, but that's never stopped us from getting US only products. There's also the chance we might availability a bit later if Google expands from just those two countries.

And exactly what makes you say that?

The A52 5G has, well for one 5G support, a 120Hz refresh rate vs A52 4G's 90Hz, 750G chipset vs 720G. Other than those major differences both are pretty much identical otherwise. So me thinks you kinda got it backwards.

Not all of us are students, unless you find one legitimately to buy one of your behalf.

Is S20 FE (128 GB) better than this phone? I don't know much about Samsung phones so asking. In QC, Fizz is offering new S20 FE for $475. So that deal maybe better then?

The S20 FE is better, especially for $475. Is that price with a contact/plan?
