Can anyone help on this? (not sure where else to find an answer)

Picked up an S10+ a couple of weeks ago and love it. But when I record video and then take pictures during the recording... the pictures come out fine but really destroy the video for playback. Every pic I take glitches the video file pretty badly. I used this feature on my S7 all the time with no issue.

I called Samsung and they told me to do a factory reset which I really don't want to do. Took me a long time to set everything up! It's amazing how many passwords and everything I forget.

Anyone know of this issue or maybe any settings that can be changed to correct? Thanks!

I've heard of this once before.

If you take a picture while also taking video is recording, it will hiccup the video briefly.

That's about it, never heard of the video being destroyed.

Word is Sammy is working on a patch.

Can someone confirm that if we call in to cancel or port out of Koodo, we'll only get charged the prorated monthly plan fee + remaining tab balance?
Yes prorated and remaining tab balance
Just port out much easier and hassle free
Setup your online profile with Koodo first so you can check your bill later if needed

just went to try and get price protection at best Buy. The free Google home is not for s10e but they mentioned to come back on VIP day this thurs. the 30 day price protection is only for price of phone and not extras like gc/free google home fyi...

i also recently got a $50 credit from koodo instead of a free charger.

So I called Koodo and waited 1 hour and minutes on the phone before they picked up. It took only 2-3 mins for the agent to cancel the account/line, i told him i wanna keep the phone.

For some reason, I was told it will be 2 day fee plus remaiming tab balance and I think there might be activation fee as well. It is what it is. He went and cancelled, bill will come when cycle ends.

So 480 + 35 + 2 day fee (should be $5) = 520 plus tax.

I will itemize and provide a step by step to help the community trying to buy this phone. See the following:

S10+
$700 on Tab Large
Discount Trade in for any $0 phone : $360 (One store said they will take any phone as long as it has IMEI number on it since they recycle it and other store said phone needs to turn on - YMMV)
Activation Fee: $35
Geek Squad Protection Discount: $100 (Signup for 3 months of Geek Squad Protection - YMMV)
Google Home : Free for new customers (Sell for $100 on CL)
Remaining Balance on Tab: $480
Total = $700-360-100+35+480+48= 803 plus tax = $899 and $799if you sell google home.

S10
$550 on Tab Large
Discount Trade in for any $0 phone : $320 (One store said they will take any phone as long as it has IMEI number on it since they recycle it and other store said phone needs to turn on - YMMV)
Activation Fee: $35
Geek Squad Protection Discount: $100 (Signup for 3 months at $16 x 3 = $48 of Geek Squad Protection - YMMV)
Google Home : Free for new customers (Sell for $100 on CL)
Remaining Balance on Tab: $480
Total = $550-320-100+35+480+48= 693 plus tax = $776 and $676 if you sell google home.

You can also negotiate and see if they can throw a free case in the deal as well. - YMMV.

S10+ is about $125 more than the regular S10. I am not a big fan of dual cutout on 10+ but battery is quite a bit better. Depends on what you are looking for.

Hope this helps.
For Samsung S10+
Total = $700-360-100+35+480+48= 803 plus tax = $899 and $799if you sell google home.
700$ outright, 360$ discount, $100 off from geek squad, 35$ charge for activation, 480$ you have to pay from remaining balance and 48$ for cancellation of geek squad. How much do they charge you for cancellation of the plan though? And if you do cancel, do you really get blacklisted from Koodoo?

Your final price can't be that low. Run this by me again.

That's his cancellation fee
Makes sense. I've never played these cancellation games, so it's all new to me.

Came back from best buy this morning. Got S10+ and Google home for 289 all in upfront (699-360-100+16)*1.13 + 480 tab. The staff was super nice. Didn't even take my trade in device just directly gave me a 360 discount. I was not charged the 35 connection fee. Is this what will be in the Koodo bill? He didn't give me a case though.
