ClearPlex, is that the screen protector? Forgotten to mention, I have some kind of screen protector coupon from this transaction as well.

The OOTB screen protector from Samsung is doing a good job for now. I'm leaving the screen protector coupon till a later date (when they have a decent / good quality protector to choose from...because of the curved edges. Screen protector manufacturers tend to need a few months before they can get the curve right).
The ClearPlex is good now, one of the best protectors of it's kind I've ever owned. Here's the clincher though, no protector is immortal, and the free replacement for the life of the phone is the beautiful cherry on top (i.e. fantastic warranty).

Not sure what else can compete.

It's not learning fast enough for my taste. I would love if it had a bias meter so I could set it +20% and leave it there.

AIs are still pretty dumb in 2019.

Can someone explain the BB geek squad discount?
Was at sherway in Toronto today, and the mobile specialists knew nothing about any discounts for getting geek squad with the phone.

Thanks
This was my experience in another Toronto location as well. I told them I would not buy it if no GS discount but they said they didn't have such ability for $100 credit, only screen protector & case. It may be for certain provinces

Security patches are all back-end, zero front-end impact. I mean... I'll take it, but let's not get too excited.

There are supposed to be some camera updates too built into the patch.

Kitchener, ON
Order placed on saturday on samsung.ca was confirmed a few minutes ago.

Also got the email from galaxyupgrade with instructions to send the old device, weird that it says "Pantech other other" - I never selected pantech. I selected other-other because it was not listed, It's an old samsung phone (2011?)

When a new security patch comes out do we need to factory reset? I just set everything up and it's a pain in the ass.
Of course not, reboot at worst.
I already updated to February after opening phone and did factory reset.
It shouldn't force a factory reset when you update.... no update should do that.

Hopefully the auto reboot issue too?

I got a replacement s10e few days ago. Still does the same thing.

I will wait on installing the patch until I see more experiences reported.

I went to local best buy and bought the clearplex screen protector. They installed it for me, but looks like it doesn't cover the whole screen. There's about 1/2cm on the right of the screen that wasn't covered, and I'm not talking abiit the curved part. They also kinda missed the hole punch by a bit. Anyone else have experience with clear plex?

They put on the case friendly cut and didn't even ask you... silly.

Go back there and tell them you want the full screen cover, not the case friendly version.
