So it's weird that when I choose the Samsung S10E, I am only getting a pre-order bonus of $100 instead of $200 ?

After trade-in of $110 and bonus of $200, I pay for the S10 at $949.99
After trade-in of $110 and bonus of $100, I pay for the S10E at $809.99

Isn't getting the S10 more worth it than since I only get $100 off with the S10E or is there something wrong I am doing? Thanks guys.. it's the last day to pre-order today and I might go down to the Metrotown Van location to check out both phones if the S10 is too big for me.
Also does anyone get the Samsung Care+ Protection Plan? I never actually got it before on my Samsung phones S7E and S3 and both worked fine without it till today.
Yea the S10e only gets $100 which makes it a horrid deal vs S10 with $200 off. Don't suggest going with S10e purely based on value alone.

On the first day I think the Samsung site had an error when the S10e was also $200 off, which actually made that phone nicely under $1,000.

thanks for clarifying. Yes on the first day before I was out of town, I did see it was $200 off, surprising they changed it. I might have to go with the S10 now. I have a S3 to trade in too but I don't think I could sell my S7 Edge on craigslist for more than $100 either..

Never understood what people see in these atrociously priced phones. Like someone said, as expensive as 1 month's rent. 99.9% of use cases are super well covered by the average $150-200 devices like the Moto X4 or the Moto G. What do people do extra with a $1000+ phone that they will anyway upgrade in a year or two (like the rest of us $200-phone users)? Feel free to "downvote" this comment, but smartphone pricing is getting way out of hand while giving only incremental/marginal "upgrades" in return. Sometimes just pure gimmicks (I'm looking at you, you silly folding screen).
Camera performance and features.

That is the one are you CANNOT unfortunately 'cheap out' much. Especially if you are looking for multi focal lengths (not this 'portrait mode' depth sensor rubbish).

i think if you upgrade once in every 3 years it's fine to be honest to get a top end phone.

No I don't.

What is a 'real camera'? I own a 'real camera'. I don't carry a 'real camera' with me all the time.

I DO OTOH have my phone on my pretty much all the time.

Therefore, if I can get a phone that is as close to a 'real camera' as possible, that is worth it, TO ME.

The difference is camera quality and features between mid range and flagship is still VAST. Leave 'bright sunny day' and mid range phone cameras fall apart completely. Nevermind if you want a decent UWA picture, no mid range is decent there.

YOU obviously feel different. But to put a blanket statement on everybody out there is irresponsible, useless, and frankly silly.

So I decided against Rogers' Corporate sale for the S10+, I may use the $500USD credit on Amazon.com to buy it outright from there.

So folks, you gain a tremendous 80+% performance gain going from the SD 835 to SD 855 (S8 to S10). The jump from 845 to 855 is 20% to 25%, still significant.

$520 after trade in and conversion + $360 for iphone 8 = $880 for s10

+ $130 egift card for galaxy buds

Pretty good deal
How do you get ship in canada from samsung US?
