So folks, you gain a tremendous 80+% performance gain going from the SD 835 to SD 855 (S8 to S10). The jump from 845 to 855 is 20% to 25%, still significant.

You do realize that CPU performance is FAR from the only element of a phone that affects user experience?
An 80% increase in CPU performance does NOT translate into anything nearing that number in real life performance.
