Got the free buds on Tuesday but still no tablet. I did the paybright 12 month plan and I found it really odd that my 1st payment begins on Oct 12.

I'm not using a keyboard or mouse. My usage is mostly media consumption and note taking. The windows like multi app option in dex makes the user experience great.

I called Samsung for an update on my 256gb order which is yet to arrive. Basically the devices are actually restocking ETA Aug 27th (incoming shipments, they got none right now), and should ship out 1-3 days after that. So best to expect your shipment early Sept if you've ordered a 256gb. Most likely they'll restock the online store too but don't quote me on this.

I think I am giving up waiting for restock... Does anyone know how the s6 lite 128gb compares to the s7? I know it would be worse but it's more than 200 bucks cheaper. Would it be really noticeable?

I wouldn't do this because the s7 or s7+ is leaps better.eyeball123 wrote: ↑ I think I am giving up waiting for restock... Does anyone know how the s6 lite 128gb compares to the s7? I know it would be worse but it's more than 200 bucks cheaper. Would it be really noticeable?
S6 lite is last Gen, plus it's the lower end version too.
120hz vs 60hz and better pen on the s7

One thing I've read pretty consistently about the S6 Lite is that it runs a little slow. The S7's have flagship processors so they're zippy and fast and will like stay that way for the duration of their update cycle.eyeball123 wrote: ↑ I think I am giving up waiting for restock... It just depends on what you want it for. If you just want a tablet to do some browsing, write some notes, and media consumption, then the S6 Lite should be good. But if you want to play/stream games, do more in depth drawing/writing, more of a productivity machine, or just a better display (bigger, brighter, 120hz) with better speakers, then you'll want the S7.
