Samsung is giving FREE Buds Live with S21 for SPC members. This is on top of the 20% off that they are anyway giving on S21. Seems like a good deal.

It was 200 dollars off with trade in of flip phone a week ago, hopefully that comes back.

It seems that they are now doing $250 off for the trade-in for S21 with free ear buds (on their regular and studentbeans website).

It looks like it is "Up to $260". Which isn't quite what it used to be. It doesn't have the $200 off with the other other phone trade in.

For anyone curious, the best deal on the S21 line under current promo is
S21 Phantom Gray 256GB

- $269 discount (makes it same overall price as 128GB model)
- $250 trade (Apple trade bonus)
Free Buds Live

Essentially, the extra storage is at no cost vs the same deal on the 128GB model. Apple trade bonus I tested was iPhone 5S 16GB model (does not need to be functional). All in price if you resell Buds Live for $70 is about $700 including tax for S21 256GB with a Apple phone that does not need to be functional (eg almost worthless basically, had $0 trade value)

Reg MSRP for S21 256GB model is $1356 after tax in Ont. Granted, no one pays MSRP for Samsung flagship phones but half off is hot, considering Apple trade in does not need to be functional ($0 trade value)

I don't have an iPhone lying around. Or what if I send in another phone instead of an iPhone

It only works on Apple phones, it does not work on other phones ($250 trade bonus). I think you do have to send it in, as it is a promo specifically trying to target Apple customers to get them to trade in their Apple phones for a Samsung

Sent the trade in device which they received but when I contacted customer service , they have no idea where it went from that point. So someone who works there is enjoying a s20 .

Price is not bad if you have an old iPhone to trade in. Wish they have 256GB for the other colors.
