[Samsung] Samsung Tab S6 Lite 64 Gb $251.99 with venngo/studentbeans/perko

This deal seems to be back in stock, black or blue for the 64 Gb version of the Samsung Tab S6 Lite. Noticed this while browsing the site through the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 deal for anyone looking for a cheap and decent tablet.

Tab S8 is $760 with the $50 off code, and I asked on that thread if it's worth spending $508 plus taxes more for that...

they said yes.

I don't know myself.

Probably depends on your use case. If you're just streaming movies while traveling and aren't playing graphically intensive mobile games this is fine. If you are into the productivity/laptop replacement you probably want to consider the s8.

Low end vs high end, depends on your needs. Processor is over 3x faster in the Tab S8, far better screen, speakers, fingerprint reader, cameras. But you pay for all that.

I bought it for my wife with $100 more a month ago. Now I just bought one for myself.

Having owned but returned the S6 lite for a bit, it's quite nice as a bedside device. Here are some unorganized thoughts: I like the smaller pen and its placement along the side rather than back. The camera placement is on the vertical end (not great). LineageOS support is great for long term support. Can be sluggish at times, not the best at video call + browsing at the same time. Battery life is excellent.

I would stay with the S6 lite as a side device, and only consider the S8 plus as the upgrade option for its AMOLED display

Currently android 11, they've guaranteed updates through Android 13 to this device.

FYI if you don't have venngo/studentbeans/perkopolis, it's currently $280 at Walmart.

$250 vs $800, I think we’d all go for the $800 one if money was no issue

it is most likely made in china (250) vs made in usa(800)
and sb still requires 250 need to have better quality than 800 . otherwise, garbxge

Samsung doesn't make tablets in the United States... Also what you wrote doesn't really make sense.
