S22 isn't stable like an iPad. It's actually a pretty poor device in terms of battery life and has lots of software throttling. I have one (s22+), and it was a downgrade from my S10+ in terms of overall performance.

Promo is only on S21 5g - Canadian ver.
Virtually no other phone qualify. Maybe they will cycle to next phone after May 2nd? But they keep bumping discounted price up closer to MSRP and / or reducing benefits.

and they found like .5 pixel of burn in and did clawback
I wont do trade in ever again.

It doesn't make sense for S21 to have a guarantee of $720 when S22+ 128 GB is $360 and S22 Ultra 256 GB is $465 as trade in value

They probably figured that a lot of people with S21s are on the fence so they run these promotions to lure them in. People with S22s would probably be less inclined to trade in their phones that soon I would assume?

And those with even older devices have most likely already traded in when they ran their 2-month trade in promotion at S23's launch.

What were they giving you for a note 8 on top of the promo credit? Couldn't have clawed back too much I wouldn't think?

I think they were free when people pre-ordered during S23's launch, S23/S23+ gets the Buds 2 and the Ultra gets the Buds 2 Pro.

Can anyone confirm, is it S21 ONLY (like the image of the Samsung tweet suggests)?

Or are these other phones (listed in the 4th or 5th post of this thread) eligible? Galaxy S20 Ultra, S21, S21+, S21 Ultra or Note20 Ultra  smartphone

Has anyone gotten the $720 on a phone OTHER THAN S21?

What's wrong with the trade in? You are getting the full $720 trade in value for the S21 that is guaranteed.

My bad, didn't see the $1 final price at first.. never hurts to try though, just don't expect it to go through.
